Hello -
OK - you talked me into it.
I did get the Eventi - the price even came down a few bucks to $175.
Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the information - hmmm, I think I'll pass on this one.
I'm looking for 4.5 - 5 Star in Manhattan - location within the city is not all that important.

Is that the Loews?

I decided to take your advice and go with the 4-star in Midtown East. I double-checked the hotel's amenities with your Hotwire hotel list, and it did match the W on Lexington. The price actually dropped to $181 by the time I booked. Thanks for your help on this.

Hello -
I had in mind for a 4 star to be at $250 a night all in. However, based on what I am seeing for taxes/fees, I think that translates to a base rate might be closer to $190 - $200 a night.
I clicked on your Hotwire link, and I saw what appears to be the W on Lexington for $183. I also saw for $185 another 4 star in MTE. Any idea what that one might be?
Thanks.

I am budgeting a max of $210 a night for a 4 star.
I would go $20 higher a night for a 4.5 star
I doubt I could get a 5 star for under $300 so that's probably not an option.
Thanks.

I wound up not needing a hotel room for this trip, so I never booked.
Thank you for your help, though.

Hello
I am looking for a good value in a 4 star or better hotel in Manhattan - Times Square, Midtown Central, or Midtown East for 11/8 - 11/10. I'm a little concerned in that some of these properties have very small rooms and/or bed sizes. I would also consider buying through a PRICELINE EXPRESS (I never seem to have any luck on Price.line bidding). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Shooter
OK, Thank you for your help.
I think I will wait on this one.

I see on Priceline Express a 4* hotel with
Free Internet
Indoor or Outdoor Pool
Pets Allowed
Restaurant
Business Center
Fitness Center
available on 6/20 (1 night) for $161
Rated 8 out of 10
Any idea on the name of the property?
Thanks.

Your information was 100% CORRECT - booked the Marriott San Juan Resort and Stellaris Casino for $193 a night.
THANK YOU for your assistance.

Hello
I clicked through and it shows the following amenities:
Hello -
Thanks for the reply.
This property does not show up on the easy view tab. It only shows on the Hotwire tab.
The price went up slightly to $193 now.
It is 90% recommended and has a 4-dot rating on Tripadvisor.
Thanks.
Would like help identifying this property.
Puerto Rico - Condado, 4 Star - March 18 - 21 $189
Casino
Tennis Nearby
Business Center
Spa Services
Self Service Laundry
Internet Access
Thanks.
I believe the amenities were:
Indoor Swimming Pool
Restaurant
Fitness Center
Additionally, you had the option to request two beds, which was around $20 additional per night. I went with the single bed option.
The guest rating was 8 and it was labeled a Guest Favorite.
Wanted a 4 star in NYC area - location was not a priority. Saw a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal for $205 in Brooklyn and took it. Actually the rate was $184.50, because Priceline had a 10%-off coupon on its web site when I booked (coupon was good for any Express Deal where you book a 3 star property or better). The hotel wound up being the Marriott Brooklyn Bridge. I've never stayed there before, but others who have say it's a nice property.

I checked out the PRICELINE EXPRESS hotels using the BetterBidding link. This was not on the BetterBidding list of the express deal hotels but I could tell by the information it was likely going to be the Eventi - BetterBidding recently helped me get a room in the Eventi on Hot.wire and it is a nice property. So based on the price and room options, I guesstimated this was the Eventi, pulled the trigger, and I was correct.
Guaranteed Amenities:
Pets Allowed
Restaurant
Fitness Center
Guests rated it a 9+
Room Options were:
1 King Bed
1 King Bed - Deluxe Room
1 King Bed - Accessible Room
2 Queen Beds - Accessible Room
2 Queen Beds
My price was for the King Bed - other options were more money.
Thanks,
Shooter
