  1. Thanks! I checked it out, not a ton of reported wins, one for the Night Hotel, and one for the Times Square Westin, I can live with any of the hotels in the regions I listed. Any help on bidding strategy would be appreciated.
  2. I could live with any of those hotels, was just wondering if anyone knew if those hotels had been popping up frequently on Priceline searches.
  3. Good evening, I did some research and this is what I have come up with. At this point in the process I would like a 4* or higher, if we get close to March 4th and I still haven't gotten anything I would look at 3* and 3.5* In order my preferred zones are: 1.) Times Square (Would prefer to avoid the Night Hotel) 2.) Midtown West 3.) Empire State (Would prefer to avoid the Marcel) We would like to keep it at $130 a night maximum as I think we could find something on HOTWIRE or PRICELINE EXPRESS in those regions at that start rating. Thanks!
  4. Thanks for the help! I will give PRICELINE a shot then, I will make sure to use your link and post results!
  5. We are not married to that zone by any stretch, I did sort by percent recommended and came up with that. We are willing to stay anywhere except for Downtown/Wall St, Lower East Side, Upper East Side, or Upper West Side. Basically looking for Midtown and close by areas. I have seen three star hotels on HOTWIRE for $100 and less, I think $125 a night would be as high as I would go before fees/taxes. Have used PRICELINE in the past and would be willing to try that as well if a better deal could be had on that site. Thanks!
  6. Apologies for that, I just updated that post. Thereuare, you are correct, trip is to NYC for two nights, checing in Friday 3/4 and checking out 3/6. Will be sure to use your links with any purchase for this.
  7. Ended up using PRICELINE, bid $100 on 4* in Boston Common - Theater District and ended up with the Boston Omni Parker House.
  8. Good afternoon, I was hoping for some help in identifying this hotel as there does not seem to be a list for Union Square. It is listed as a 3.5 star hotel, with 100% recommended. Only amenity listed is free internet. The Hotwire rate is $114 a night for March 4th and 5th. It says it would have been $175 normally. Thanks!
  9. Did all that. THe previous offer is now gone. Now there is a room $119 with fitness center, high speed internet, and restaurant(s) in the same area. Hotel website has rooms listsed at $125 for the cheapest, double bed only.
  10. Room price is $105 for 1/8/11-1/9/11. Four star hotwire rating, amenities include Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, High Speed Internet Access. Any guesses as to which hotel this is? Was hoping for the Omni Parker Hotel. Thanks for everyones help!
