Thanks to Freefalling's priceline hotel win posted earlier today we were able to get this awesome hotel for $91. I was originally bidding on 9/11-9/15, but I was hitting on anything. I saw Freefalling won on a bid from 9/11-9/14, so I tried that and got it! It would not let me extend my stay for that additional night, so they must be out of rooms on 9/15. I'll also be bidding on 9/15, so stay tuned for a hopefully successful bid there.

$45 for a really nice hotel in a great location. Got it on my first bid. Should be a good hotel.

Excited about this hotel. I initially offered $60 and was give the chance to increase bid to $71. I declined and instead changed my booking length from 3 days to 2 days and rebid at $63 and it was accepted. I can now extend it for the same price if I want. The only thing I'm upset about is that it guarenteed free internet access, but it ends up that the free internet access is only in public areas and not in the rooms. Seems a little misleading on Priceline's part. I used the PRICELINE link to book the hotel stay!

I know what happened now. I mistakenly put Birmingham (Hoover) when I should have put Birmingham (Homewood). This is the Holiday Inn at 492 Wildwood Circle N., Homewood, AL 35209 . It is listed as a 2.5*. I was unsuccessful in bidding on a 3*. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks!

First bid accepted at $45 a night for one night. Very nice hotel. Great location. Didn't use PRICELINE link as I didn't know this website existed when i made my purchase.

3.5* Lexington (South) Hilton Suites - Lexington Green - $45 ($55 with taxes) Stayed for 2 nights. 12/25/10-12/27/10 Didn't use the PRICELINE link since I didn't know this site existed. I will next time!
