Originally bid $65 and was rejected but Priceline offered $79 which I turned down. Rebid $70 the next day and was accepted. Residence Inn web site rate was $149. For anyone looking to stay near Binghamton University, Vestal is the closest zone.
I originally bid $46 and was rejected. Waited a day and rebid $51 and was accepted. Priceline had a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for a 2.5* for $59 and the Comfort Inn web site quoted $119.
Looks like the Hyatt Rochester is now a 3.5 star hotel. First bid was $55 and was declined but was offered to raise my bid to $69 to get accepted. I turned that deal down and rebid $58 and was rejected. Then rebid $60 and was accepted. Rate for this night is $139 on the Hyatt web site and a Priceline express deal has a 3.5* downtown Rochester hotel for $79 which I believe is the Hyatt. Also was offered to extend my stay at the same rate.
