  1. It took a couple of days to get one of the 5* resorts on the south strip. I saved about 30% off of my backup reservation I had at Aria. Very happy as usual!
  2. The Venetian over Memorial Day weekend at $175 night. Very happy with this win. :)
  3. This was for a past stay. I rembered that i hadn't posted this when posting my most recent win.
  4. $95 a night for 2 rooms. I think there is a lot going on this weekend. A lot of places are booked. As usual...I'm a happy guy! :)
  5. Another great value thanks to betterbidding. After 5 years...I still get excited when I win! :) Tried for this 2 weeks ago and bid up to $85 with no luck. Booked at the Westin with cash and points as a SPG member... 4000 pts/$60 night. To save my 8000 pts and only spend $15 a night more is a steal in my book! Thanks for doing what you do BB
  6. Used the PRICELINE link Started bidding 4* Downtown $50 rejected added Allen-McKinney $55 rejected added Arlington-GrandPrairie $60 rejected added Arlington South $65 rejected added DFW Airport South $70 accepted

  8. Wow...another great win on priceline. Labor day weekend 9/1 to 9/6 $150 a night at the Wynn. Couldn't be happier!
  9. 4/9-4/10 Started of at Downtown Portland. 4*, $60 Added: Beaverton $60 Clackamas $65 Lloyd Ctr $70 Greshem $75 N. Harbor $80 Looks like a nice hotel. Used to staying at The Benson via Priceline. This will be a nice change! Used PRICELINE link!
  10. My experience with reserving rooms is NOLA is that the price varies greatly depending on what events are going on at the time. I have attended the last 2 Mardis Gras. I stayed at the JW in 2010 and paid about $260 a night for a 5 night stay. This year I stayed right across the street at the Marriott and would have paid $320 a night if I hadn't used my Marriott Reward points for 5 free nights. I have seen these same propertes go for 1/2 price or less booked directly through Marriott during non Mardi Gras/Jazz Fest times. It all about supply and depend. Regardless if which property you won...you will be happy. Both offer superb customer service. The JW is quite a bit smaller and a bit nicer...the Marriott offers more amenities and is huge!
  11. I know it is really early to be planning a trip to NYC for December 2011. But...is it too early to bid now or should I wait...and for how long?
  12. We decided to spend the weekend in Seattle at the last minute and started bidding at 9pm the night before we wanted to stay...ended up with the Grand Hyatt downtown Seattle at $85 day I used the PRICELINE link...Love this place!
  13. Did you ever have any luck finding a hotel for Mardi Gras 2011?
