Hi guys I am looking at a hotel in Downtown Memphis North Convention area for 13 - 17 July. There is a 4 star for $122 per night with amenities: Free internet, business centre, fitness centre, indoor pool(s), pet friendly, restaurants(s), self service laundry, smoke free rooms. I thought it was the Sheraton, but a previous poster has got this hotel as a 3.5 star. Hotel had 90% recommended on TA and 4/5 rating on TA. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just an update on this booking. I emailed Hotwire and explained that the laundry icon was incorrect. To their credit, they agreed with me, and offered me the option of cancelling my booking for a full refund, or $50.00 HotDollars. I have accepted the $50.00 HotDollars to use on my next booking. Great customer service from Hotwire. Jodi

Thanks for the responses. When you click on the Laundry Icon it says " Guests have access to a coin operated washer and dryer". This IMHO is very different to paying $20.00 to the hotel to send out a bag of laundry. The icons are obviously useful in helping us identify the hotel but the reality is that the hotel should have the amenties described. In selecting Hotwire Hotels I will always choose one with laundry facilities over one that doesn't. Anyway, I have booked using the HOTWIRE link and it is the Sheraton Brooklyn. I am really happy with the price as the hotel has a pool and we are visiting in Summer (why don't they ditch the laundry icon and replace it with a pool icon?) I have emailed Hotwire to let them know that the icon is wrong. Thanks again for all your help. I have still have three more hotels to book for my trip in June/July so no doubt I will need some more help. Jodi

Hi Stilll considering making this booking, price for the same dates now $127.00. I contacted the Sheraton to ask them a few questions, and they confirmed that they do not have a coin operated laundry as indicated in the amenties. Would this mean it is another hotel? If so does anyone have any ideas? Surely the amenties icons would have to be accurate? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Jodi

Hi Dates are in 20 June out 24 June for 2 adults and 1 child Price $125.00 AMenties Fitness Restaurant Laundry Hi speed Wi-fi 90 % Hotwire rating and 4/5 TA rating From the Hotwire list guessing it may be the Sheraton, but this hotel only has a 3.5/5 TA rating. Wouldn't they keep up to date? Any ideas Thanks Jodi

Have decided to add another night so can you please help with: 3 star Disney Main gate in 30 June 2011 out 9 July 2011 $36.00 per night Amenties: no smoking, complimentary breakfast, fitness, pool, business centre, internet, laundry and golf. Recommended by 80% of Hotwire customers. Trip Adviser rating 3.5/5. I am thinking Baymont Inn and Suites Celebration. What do you think. Thanks Jodi

Hi No problems booking ahead, I have used HOTWIRE for lots of booking ahead of time (even one for New Jersey). Travel insurance will cogh up if I can't go for some reason of illness etc. I have been researching this hotel some more and are still none the wiser. Usually I can work out what hotel they are! Hi Dates are in 1 July 2011 departing 5 July 2011. 3 star condo, 85% recommended $59.00 Amenties are: Resort, 1 Bedroom suite, Fully equipped kitchen, Free parking, Air Conditioning, Child Activity Program, Fitness Centre, Pool(s), Business Centre, Front Desk, 24 hour Front desk, Laundry Facilities, High Speed Internet, Tennis nearby, Condo. Could be Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort, Quality Suites lake Buena Vista or was hoping Hawthorn Suites but I don't think so. None have tennis nearby as inclusion. Any ideas ? Thanks Jodi
