Hello everyone,
I am from Brazil and plan to go to NYC with my wife from Sep. 27th to Oct. 8th.
I need help to find a good deal in accommodation as the prices in NYC are very high.
I only need a clean room in a very good location so I can walk around the city, with restaurants close by.
I believe a 4* will certainly meet my need but not sure all 3* will., so I will stick with 4*. Tried some bids up to $210 in most popular areas, but no success.
Any tip or strategy to bid again
Many thanks,
Eduardo
Hi,
Can you help me with a strategy for a 4 or 5 star hotel in LA, zones beverly Hills or Hollywood?
Many Thanks,
Eduardo
Hi,
Can you help me in an strategy (an re bid zones) for a 4* hotel in USE, Embarcadero, Fisherman Warf, in this order of preference, up to $120.
I just tried $90 in zones USE, USW, Embarcadero and Fisherman Wharf, without success.
Many thanks,
Eduardo
Hi,
Can you hellp me with a strategy to try a 4 or 5 star hotel in beverly hill or hollyowwod up to $120?
Thanks,
Eduardo
I was triyng a 4 or 5 star hotel in Beverly Hills and Hollywood and added Redondo zone to rebid $100 as there wasno 4 or 5 star hotel listed here or mentioned before.
Not very happy as this was not my first choice, and is quite far from downtown, but it seems to be a good hotel.

I will arrive from San FRancisco by car, stay one night before going to Las Vegas, also by car.

First I tried 5* in South and North Strip up to $120, w/o sucess. Tried 4* south for $70 and got Tropicana Hotel and Cassino.
Does anyone know if it is a good hotel?
Best REgards,
PS: Used BB PRICELINE link
I think the best option for me would be to try a 4* in USE and embarcdero, and then add Fisherman warf, then add 3.5* until I get some good deal.
Best regards,
So maybe I should consider in ths order of preference: USE, Embarcadero, Fisherman Warf.
Hi,
I read the message and will definetly use PRICELINE link from this site (to keep a useful site this active with just a click, ofcourse I will).
Best regards,
Eduardo
Thanks,
Both Union Square East and Fisherman Warf would be fine for. I don`t mind to stay in a tourist area, as I will be a tourist. I just want to a area where I can reach the tourist places easily, because I will use public transportation. If I can avoid to be in a more dangerous or less attracive area, I really prefer.
I don`t mind to try a 3.5* hotel, as long as this will save more than U$30 a day(around $60). If not, I prefer to spend $100 in a 4* hotel.
Considering these (and your information) I think the best option for me would be a 3.5* in USE or Fisherman Warf, for less than U$70 and, if I don`t get anything to try a 4* for up to U$100.
Agree?
How should I put this into a strategy at priceline?
Best regards and again many thanks.

Hi everyone,
I will travel to California in april with my wife for the first time. Will do SF to LA by car and then go to Las Vegas.
I need help to find a good hotel for just one night on april 26th and pay up to U$ 100.
Any suggestion what are the best zones and what type of hotel I can expect for this $$?
Best regards,
Eduardo
Hi everyone,
I am from Brazil and will go to San Francisco in April with my wife (we are both 35 y/o). As this will be our first trip to SF I need help to find a good hotel in a good area to visit the city. I will arrive on the 21st of april and will stay until 24th. I expect to spend up to U$ 100, if possible in a 4 or 3.5 star hotel.
I read the FAQ but need help to know waht are the best zones to bid and what would be the start bid.
Any suggestion?
Best regards,
Eduardo
Since this is an extended stay, you could see if this property appears for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'... if you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.
I had a similar results for a 18 nights in may 2011. How does this "look behind the curtain" work? It is very important for me to confirm the hotel as I am traveling with 2 yopung kids and for 18 nights.
Best regards,
Eduardo
Hello,
I am planning a trip to Buenos aires with my 2 daugheres + 1 couple with 1 daughter + 3 adults.
We liked the Sheraton Libertador in Buenos Aires but are afraid to bid and get another hotel.
Does any one know if there is another 4* in PRICELINE for Buenos Aires?
How should we handdle the bedroons for more than a couple? Is there a risk that Hotel charge additional fees for extra bed?
Can we include breakfast when bidding? At Sheraton website, there are options of rates with and without breakfast. I am afraid to bid without breafast and pay a fortune to get it from the Hotel. Any tip?
What about in HOTWIRE? Any hotel history in Buenos Aires?
Best Regards,
Eduardo
