10 days ago,started bidding for a 3* hotel in fishermans wharf at $52+$2.86(bonus),then $55+2.86,$57+2.86,$60+2.86,$63+2.86,$66+2.86,failed.i even wanted to give up the bidding 3 days ago.today,first bid for a 3.5* hotel in fishermans wharf at $62+2.86,accepted.

started at $45 for 3*,then $50,$52,$55,failed.started at $60 for 3.5*,accepted.

in san diego,there are 4* or 5* hotels only in zone1, 3, 14,so u can add diffrent zones to bid.my target is omni.i bid 4*at $55,then add one zone and $2 every time.at $67,they told me the bid was accepted. in addition,in the bidding,i was worried that they would give me the sheraton marina,which is 4* but a little far from downtown.i was sure i could get sheraton at $69 by HOTWIRE or at $71 by pl hotel booking system.fortunately,i got omni.

one question:why didn't PRICELINE give u Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina,which is only $71/nite?

first bid downtown at $60,then add capitol hill at $70,failed.after seeing some guys got the hotel at $44-45, add crystal city and bid $45.success.
