2x$70/night + $31.46 tax/fees = $171.46 for two nights. Started bidding at $50, rebidding in $5 increments until accepted at $70. Easy to rebid since most Cleveland regions have no 4* hotels -- thanks betterbidding.com! Matching hotel available on Hotwire (as a 3.5*) for $77/night + ~$36 tax/fees = $190; also as priceline express deal. Only a few hotels in University Circle area, so little doubt it was Intercontinental Suites. So bidding only saved me ~$20 over that offer -- but still happy to get this price!

But I saw an even lower price -- $57 -- when I searched from the betterbidding link again a bit later. New searches continue to show $59, which was unexpected if the price was just dropping across the board. Still deciding whether to plunk for one of these -- I hold a reservation at a nearby 2.5* for a bit more money, but it is cancellable.

Initial $40 bid for 3.5* Downtown was rejected. Priceline offered immediate rebid at $15 more = $55. Thanks to betterbidding.com I rebid with Mayfield Heights (no 3.5*) added to my region and got my night for $45 bid. With $14.32 taxes and fees = $59.32. Had been hoping for Hyatt Regency Arcade which seems to accept some low Priceline bids, but this beats Motel 6 :)
