  1. Yes, for the Hotwire search, I entered two adults, one child. There's plenty of time before end of July, so I'm willing to watch some price fluctuations go by.
  2. Thanks! The same 3.5* property was available for $149 on HOTWIRE yesterday, so the price may go down again. I didn't consider Priceline Express deals since there will be three of us (including my five year old) and Priceline Express only handles double occupancy. Hotel policies may differ on whether there is a charge for children, even if using existing bedding.
  3. Nothing on the current Better Bidding list matches these amenities. Help ID? 3.5* Empire State Building - Bryant Park area July 28-29, 2017 (one night) $162/night Amenities: Free Internet, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Internet access 95% recommended Thanks!
  4. Absolutely had no idea I would win at this price, so sorry, I don't think I used the betterbidding Priceline link. I planned to just see what rebid offers I would get. First bid: $110 for 4* in Times Square, CPS, Midtown West. Offered free re-bid at $130, which I declined. Free re-bid at $115 by adding Morningside Heights, and won Hyatt Times Square, which gets generally very good reviews on tripadvisor. Price through Hyatt with AAA discount is $242. Total including tax and fees for one night is $146.34. I was on the fence about going to NYC that night, but I guess it's decided now!
  5. Any idea which hotel this could be? 4* MTE on Priceline Express Amenities: Pets Allowed, Business Center, Fitness Center Bed Choice available Thanks!
  6. First bid of $63 was accepted, so maybe a 3* in this area can be had for less. Used the PRICELINE link on this site.
  7. After seeing similar dates won on betterbidding, I also bid for L'Enfant Plaza and got it for two nights at $68. It looks very convenient to the metro.
  8. Was hoping for the Sheraton, but got this property, which is a couple blocks away. A friend who bid for similar dates got the Sheraton for $60.
  9. I used to be intimidated by Priceline, but after discovering betterbidding, I've become a huge fan. Finally, I've registered so can post other recent wins in the appropriate forums. Using this board's PRICELINE link, began bidding at $110 for one night in MTW/MTE/TS, used free re-bid zones at $5 increments, and got Hilton at $125. Best available rate on hotel website is $329, so looks like a good deal.
