  1. I wanted a hotel in the Buckhead area, but I messed up with the Priceline Iphone app, and got the Spring Hill suites in Lithia Springs. But it turned out to be a great hotel. Quiet location, spacious suite with 42" LCD TV and free breakfast. Drive to Atlanta airport only took 20mins. Only downside to this location is that the eating options are kinda limited. Total cost: $43 + $14 (taxes and fees)= $57
  2. Finally, I booked the 2.5* and was glad to get the Homestead. Here are the details. Thanks to Colfax and Thereuare for the helpful advice. Please update the amenities. Hotel Name: Homestead Suites, LAX-El segundo Hotwire Area: LAX Hotel Class: 2.5* Amenities: Laundry Dates: 8/15 to 8/17 Price: $65/per night ($130 on Travelocity)
  3. Homestead suites has kichen in every room. Why doesn't hotwire list it in the amenities list? Thanks for your help...

  5. Bid $50 and Hilton columbia accepted it on the first try. Could be accepting lower bids (the lowest rate on Hotels.com was $119). I'm happy with this price...
  6. Got it on the first try (may be I should have tried a lower bid). Tried $140 yesterday and nobody accepted...
  7. Some good news. I bid $99 for 4/11(monday) and my bid was accepted for venetian. Looks like the rate for 4/10(sunday) is much higher. Therefore, I'm thinking about staying at Monte Carlo on 10th april ($79 available on their website). Thanks again for your help...
  8. Thanks for the tip. Now I know what star hotels are available in each area. Right now, I'm ready to bid till $120 for venetian. If I can't get that, I will be happy with a 4* hotel like NYNY or treasure Island or Aladdin (not Westin). What's the average priceline rate for these hotels, any idea?? Thanks again and many Regards...
  9. Thanks thereuare, I was thinking of trying to add the following zones (to the strip) for re-bid? 1. Nellis - Las vegas speedway 2. Northwest las vegas 3. UNLV area 4. Boulder strip 5. Freemont St vicinity Are there any 5* hotels in these areas? Since priceline didn't accept $100, I was thinking of bidding $110. What do you think? Thanks in advance....
  10. My bid of $100 (from 4/10 to 4/12) got rejected. Looks like venetian has increased their acceptance price for those dates. Priceline offered me $135. Is there any chance their acceptance price will come down after some time? Thanks and Regards....
  11. my bid of $95 for a 5* hotel in las vegas (from 4/10 to 4/12) got rejected on priceline. I want to re-bid. Which area can I safely add for re-bid and what price should I bid? Thanks for your help....
