I ran out of time to keep bid. I'll try to start earlier next time. Ended up just spending the evening and driving home. 1.5 hr. each way.

Am I correct that click threw(?) rates helps even if not successful?

Didn't want to go above $90. Back up was driving up (from Boston) and trying to get government rate (USPS). Some hotels will give it.

Was just turned down for $83.00.

First time bidder. Used the PRICELINE link. Last minute trip.

Started cheap $55. rejected. Also at 70. rejected. Have 2 more tries today.

Is it 24 hours from last bid or from 1 calendar day to the next? What time zone is priceline?
