Bidding on Minneapolis Downtown , Midtown, Bloomington, University , St.Paul areas down to 2,5*. Rejected on $50, $55, and $60 before $65 was accepted. Hotwire had 3,5* for $89 for the same night at St.Paul - probably, peak period due to several games at Minneapolis. The hotel was really nice despite of my previous concerns .

Tried 3 days to find appropriate price with no results. Started from 75 for 4* in the center , ended up on 105. From 9/02/11-9/05/11 it was unreal to find even 2 * in all other zones (exept airports) for up to $90 :) . Rush period - Labor Day weekend! :)

Won one night at the The Westin Palace Milan (central Milan) for night of May 01, 2011. Winning bid was $91 (+taxes). I first submitted a bit for $83, add rebidding zone for $88 and finally with additional rebidding zone my bid $91 was accepted

Romelle, Thanks for clarification. I've tried several sites earlier (priceline, kayak , direct sites etc.) but could't find too attractve offers - particulary IC was available for USD270 and higher. If you have another link - will appreciate for information. But in any case I'll continue my effors having already booked refundable double at Villa Fontaine Shiodome (directly). Regards
