  1. Hello Thereuare, We would like to keep it at a max of $200/night; the areas we would like to concentrate on are: * Time Square * MTW * MTE Thank you for your quick response. It is greatly appreciated.
  2. Hello, Planning a one-night trip to NYC. We are looking to stay in the Times Square Area; would you please help us identify the following hotel in Priceline Express Deals? * Area: Times Square * Date: Sat, April 19th (1-night) * Price: $261 (-5% using Spring14 promo code) * Hotel: 4 Stars * Amenities: Pets Allowed Business Center Fitness Center It seems to be the Westin; if it is, then it may be a good price considering the going rate. Additionally, any help with a bidding strategy for these dates will be greatly appreciated. Thank you as always for your help.
  3. Hello! Using the PRICELINE link above, began the bidding at $82; received a counteroffer of $102; added free-bidding zone of $87 and was rejected; 3rd free-bidding zone at $92 and was accepted. I'm very happy with the outcome! :) Thank you All for the help! It is greatly appreciated. Regards,
  4. Using the PRICELINE link above, began bidding at $75; I was countered to increase the bid by $20 to $95; using rebid zone, increased the bid to $91 and was accepted. I mimic the same strategy as a previous post; I know that there are no guarantees, however, was attempting to avoid getting the Conrad - even though, it would have been perfectly fine, if I did; so, very happy with the outcome. Thanks a bunch! Happy Travels!
  5. Using the PRICELINE link above, I started bidding at the Resort level at $90, downgraded to 4* at the same bidding price; then reduced the bid to $70 for a 3.5* and got the Sheraton Old San Juan. We have stayed at this property before - great location and comfortable rooms. We'll be on the island for a wedding; we arrive late; so, this hotel fits the bill. now, need to decide where to stay for the remaining 4 days on the island. Thank you again for such a great site! :-)
  6. Using the HOTWIRE link above, I booked a 1-night stay in Hyannis at the International Inn Icons: Pool, Restaurant Price: $67 Tax & Fees: $21.99 I am curious as to why the taxes and fees are so high. Is it just for this property? Just curious.. Thank you again for such a great site! :-)
  7. Hello thereuare! We are going to keep looking. Thank you as always for your prompt response! Regards, pnk
  8. Please help ID the following Hotwire hotel: Region: 2-star hotel in Lenox - Lee Massachusetts Dates: Sept 4 - Sept 7,2009 Icons: Pool Thank you for your help as always! :)
  9. Hello thereuare! The Priceline zone is in fact, Groton. Thank you very much!
  10. Using the PRICELINE link provided, I have been trying to get a room for a month now. Opted for a 2*, instead of continuing to bid for 3*. First bid, $56, region Ledyard (Mashantucket). Second bid of $63 and adding Groton region, and this was accepted. I think, I did not have to raise my bid after adding Groton, but still a bit of a newbie at this. I am happy nevertheless, since it is going to be a one-night stay, and for $63 plus taxes still beats the on-line rate of $119 plus taxes. Thank you as always! :-)
  11. Hello thereuare, The price before taxes and fees: $148/night. Thank you again for your help!
  12. I have booked using the HOTWIRE link provided, and it is the Hotel Mela. Thank you.

Fitness Center Guests have access to exercise equipment; an additional charge may apply. Restaurant(s) Property offers at least one restaurant on the premises; hours and days of operation may vary. High-speed Internet Access Is this the Hotel Mela, would you recommend this hotel for Mother and 14 yr old daughter.
  14. Hello thereuare! Using the PRICELINE link on top of the page, my first bid of $70 for a 4* was rejected; 2nd bid for 3.5* for $65 was accepted for the Hilton Boston Back Bay. Happy to have gotten a hotel in the Boston area for under $70! Thank you again for such a fantastic site! Regards, pnk
  15. Hello thereuare! Using the PRICELINE link above, and researching for months, we have been able to book the Sheraton Old San Juan for $95 per night for 2 nights. It most definately beats the Hotwire price of $119 - $126 (the recent prices for it) or the rack rate of $284/night. I have been bidding for months for a Resort hotel; this time, I decided to try to get the Sheraton, and my first bid was accepted. We used the Priceline $5/night bonus for a total bid of $100. This is a GREAT price considering that it is New Year's eve. BTW: my bids lately have kept me waiting for 15 minutes or more before I get a response - both the Portland, Maine bid recently and this one. Thank you again for such an excellent site. There's no way we would be able to afford to travel as often as we do, without the help of this site. As always many happy, and safe travels! Regards, :-)
  16. Hello thereuare, It is the Clarion Hotel located at: Portland - Portland West 1230 Congress Street Portland, Maine 04102 207-774-5611 Thank you again!
  17. Hello! Using the PRICELINE link from the home page, I started the bid at $75 (and also having my husband bid), ended up getting the Clarion Hotel Portland for $100. This translates to a $34 (using AAA discount) to $50 savings for 1-night at the start of the Labor Day Weekend. A considerable savings to be spent on gas from Boston to Maine! :-) Thank you again for such a great site! Many Happy Travels! PNK
  18. Hello! I missed the opportunity to get this hotel from HOTWIRE (12/30 - 1/3), and I opted to take a chance with Priceline for the last two nights since I was not successful for the entire stay. we also do not mind changing hotels. I used the PRICELINE link on top of the page to start my bid, and started by my bid at $125 thru $145; after the 4th attempt, closed the browser, and logged in using my husband's account, and bid $150; I was then asked to wait because Priceline was still working on the request; then after a 5-min wait I received an email confirming the bid was accepted at $150. The same hotel was available via Hotwire at $169. now, need to wait to for availability for 12/30 thru 1/1; we have backup reservations elsewhere just in case. Thank you again for such a great site! :-)

  22. Hello! Just gettting back to complete the post; to answer your question, she was in fact given the opportunity to extend her stay, but the nightly price was $168. She just booked the hotel via the Westin link you have provided for the additional nights. The rate is not as attractive as the one that PriceLine offered; however, with the AAA discount is not too bad. Thank you again for your help thereuare!
  23. Hello! Please help ID this 3.5* property. * Customer Favorite * Fitness Center * Restaurant(s) * Business Center * High-speed Internet Access According to some of the customer reviews, it indicates that the hotel is located near K Street. Could this be the Westin Embassy Row? My sister is already staying there via a Priceline purchase, but will like to extend her stay 1 more night. Also, has anyone stayed at this property within the last couple of months? according to some reviews, the hotel is currently undergoing 'extensive' renovations. Just wondering if this is going to be a problem. Thanks as always for your help! :)
  24. Dates: Aug 10th thru Aug 12th Used the SavingsBarn link.
