Wanted to stay in New Brunswick - rates on hotel websites were 199 up for the two central in NB (heldrich, hyatt) and slightly less at the hilton (160s) which is further out saw the hotwire ($62) price and thought, what the heck, even with taxi and the $8 parking, the hilton would still be cheaper than their normal rate clicked the button and bingo! one hyatt!

Exchange Place Path accesibility Exchange Place has - a bunch of escalators - follow the hordes leaving the train - can't really miss 'tm (which will bring you out next to the PATH - just look to the right and you'll see the driveway leading to the hotel - Some elevators which take you out about 1/2 block away. From the train platform, follow the signs for wheelchair access. Once groundside, come out the doors, hang a right and then a left in front of the main PATH entrance (the one with the escalators(!)) You're fairly safe getting from exchange place to the Hyatt

The motor lodge is in a bad area to get to the path from... (Basically you have to cross Louis Marin Blvd - busy busy road), wander through a deserted (at night) malls car park (approx. 3 blocks), walk down washington blvd (roughly 4 blocks) to get to the Newport Pavonia path The others are considerably safer: - Candlewood is probably equi-distant from both Newport Pavonia and Exchange Place - I'd go to Exchange Place during the day... - Courtyard is next door to Newport Pavonia Path - Doubletree is a few blocks up washington blvd, opposite avalon cove - basically turn left for approx. 3 blocks - 10 mins walk). - Hyatt is next door to the Exchange Place Path Tom (as of last Monday, sob, sob, ex-JC resident)
