  1. I think I'm going to pass on this one. Read the reviews on Ptarmigan and didn't like it much. Thanks for the help.
  2. Totally forgot to report it once I won that one. It's up now. I'm thinking this one in Banff is the Banff Ptarmigan Inn, although if you look on it's website there's no Fitness center.
  3. This did end up being Country Inn and Suites Duluth South for $86 a night.
  4. I'm looking at a hotel on Hot.wire for August 1 - 6. Three star for $155. Amenities: Free Parking Free Breakfast Free Internet Pet Friendly Business Center Restaurant Fitness Center Golf Nearby I checked out Bidding.Helper above but it didn't give me any more amenity information. Any help? Thanks
  5. Hey thanks Aaron. I never noticed that it shows the tripadvisor rating on the details page. Well now I can pretty much guess which ones it might be. Thanks man. That was a super good tip.
  6. So I checked hotwire and there's a 2.5 star hotel for $86 with "$137 on other sites" above it (whatever those other sites are). I'm looking at staying from the 23rd and checking out on the 26th of July. Amenities shown: Indoor pool(s) High-speed internet access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Free Parking Free Breakfast Free Internet Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Trying to figure out which hotel this is, is a bit difficult as almost all their 2.5 star hotels have the same amenities. Any help?
  7. Hi there, La Quinta is still a 2 1/2 star rated hotel (same as what you have in your list of hotels for Minnesota). Dates staying are Thu, 07/26/12 - Wed, 08/01/12 Thanks
  8. Just booked La Quinta Bloomington West in Minneapolis for $65 on HOTWIRE through Betterbidding (clicked the link through the site before logging in though). Booked for 6 nights during the last week of July. Regular price on Hotwire if you show the hotel names was $72, so saved $7/night. Amenities: Indoor pool(s) Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Pool(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Free Breakfast Free Internet Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking
  9. Went through BB using the Priceline.com quickquote. Tried at 71 but refused and they came back with 85. I didn't feel like nickel and diming it so I just went with the $85 per night they countered with. It's a good hotel so I didn't mind paying it plus it's a $25 per night savings. Staying the 24th and 25th. Just thinking for next time, but has anyone tried going in at a lower rate then they counter with and still winning the bid?
  10. Bid 2 days before on PRICELINE and got the Wingate for $66 per night. Nice hotel, I'd stay there again. There's a few features we didn't like, but overall it was good. Especially since we got it for $66. Thanks to the past users for posting and helping me get the hotel I wanted for a good price.
