Got it on my first bid. Should have tried $58 as a first bid but still happy I got this hotel. Used the PRICELINE link at the top of the page to start my bidding.
Tried bidding for a 3 star hotel at first and went up to $70 but gave up after seeing that there were no 3 star hotels being offered under the PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals. Started bidding for 2.5 star at $45, 48, 51 Old hotel, but clean and well kept. Better than some 3 star Priceline hotels I've stayed at. Used the Priceline link at the top of the page to start bidding.
Started bidding at $52, system suggested that I offer $67 which I declined. Continued bidding at $54 and incremented $2 each time until winning bid of $60. Always use the PRICELINE link to start my bidding.
Thanks to a similar post yesterday as I was hoping to score this property for the identical stay period. Started bidding at $71, system suggested bidding $85 to assure a room - declined and continued bidding. Accepted my next bid of $73 Used the PRICELINE link at the top of this page to start my bidding.
Started bidding at $59 - system asked me to try bidding $75 - declined and continued to bid. 61, 63, 65, 67, 69, 70 Used the Priceline link at the top of this page to start my bidding.
You can try bidding for the Buffalo Marriott hotel through PRICELINE as there is a free airport shuttle (though you should call first to see if it's 24 hr) and you can sometimes get it for $60-70 on weekdays. It is the only 3.5 star PRICELINE hotel in the Buffalo area. There's also the Indigo Hotel which is 3.5 star on HOTWIRE (under Amherst area hotel) and also offers free shuttle (call to check the hours) and looks like it can be had for $123 on the night you mentioned. Might be a little pricey but is clean. I always start my purchases with the BetterBidding HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links.

Highest rating in Saginaw Valley is 2.5 stars - wasn't sure what I was going to get as there's nothing listed on the Priceline Michigan list. Only one other zone with 2.5 stars which means 3 rebid zones. Over time tried: 70,73,75,78,79,81 system asked me after my bids for 73 and 79 to try bidding $90 but declined. Total of 6 bidding zones, First day: $73, 75, 77, 78, 79, 80 Second day started at $81 and allowed me to purchase for $104 - declined Tried $84 next and it accepted my bid. As always, I used the HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links at the top of the BetterBidding pages to start my purchase.
Started bidding at $60 - used rebid zones increasing to $65, $70, $73 and $74 ...been trying for the last month to get that date for cheaper than $72 but no dice - have seen that hotel go for as low as $60 in previous posts but guess it's more expensive closer to the holidays
DOH - wasn't expecting to win on the first bid, but am happy given the price history for this hotel. Thought weekend rate would be more but could be 'cause I'm booking the day before. Anyways, your site rules!!!
