I've been bidding 4* Dupont Circle for the last 4 days with no luck ranging in price from $80 up to $170. Today I started my bid at $150, was countered right away at $185. I declined the counter-offer and raised my bid to $160 using a free rebid zone (rejected), raised bid to $165 (rejected), raised again to $168 and was accepted! Cheapest room rate at the Fairmont is $282/night, so am very happy with the price. Of course, I used the PRICELINE link to book. Thanks for this awesome site! I will never pay full price for a hotel again.
