Priceline invited me to up the bid by $22. I accepted the invitation and it was accepted. I was pretty sure what I was bidding on because it's the only hotel on Wrightsville listed on Priceline. The HI web site list is $288. We can't wait to be on the beach tomorrow. it's a scorcher here in Raleigh!

Gaylord Palms Resort Check-In Date: Saturday, June 3, 2005 Check-Out Date: Tuesday, June 7, 2005 Disney World Vicinity Your Offer Price: $87.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 3 Subtotal: $261.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $42.76 Total Charges: $303.76 bid this today, started at $69 and used rebids at $78 and $87 I discovered after I made the reservation that the Gaylord Palms charges $10/day resort fee and $7/day parking fee. That brings it up to $104/day which is about what I expected for the Wyndham or Omni but still less than half the rack rate. Thanks again Better Bidding!

$45-denied. $53-denied. $61-denied. I won the room for $69. I've been hesitant to try Priceline until I discovered this site. At the time I had less than 72 hours to spare before my trip. Thanks for the information about re-bidding without having to wait 72 hours. Based on the information that previous bidders have submitted, $69/night was a little more than I expected to pay but that didn't make it any less enjoyable to cancel my $109/night reservation at the Marriott Marquis.
