I got a winning priceline bid at the 3* Holiday In Key Largo for a few weeks later at around $126 / night (don't remember the exact bid). It seems like a nice property.

I gave up on PRICELINE for March in Key West, went with the Carribean Guesthouse instead. It's around $129 and right in the heat of downtown, with good reviews. A lot of 1* - 2.5* inns in Key West are really far from downtown and parking is supposedly a nightmare. I'm a big priceline fan but I think in KW PRICELINE is at it's best either off-season or to shave a few % off a $300 4*. Just my opinion though. In Key Largo I won on priceline the 3* Holiday Inn for around $130ish (search this forum) for the same period.

I probably overpaid some here, made a mistake with re-bidding. Anyway, my accepted bid was $116 + $10 bonus cash (10*5) for a total of $126 bid, $680 for 5 nights incl taxes. Best of luck!

Hi everyone, thank you for this wonderful resource and all your contributions that make planning my travels so much better! I am currently going through the whole routine of re-bidding 3-4 times with slightly different dates, prices and zones daily - for my stay in the Florida Keys in March 2011. Is that even reasonable or are prices unlikely to change this early? also, I am bidding around $100-$120 per night for a 4* or Resort level hotel in the keys (all 4 regions). Considering that end of march is probably high season, is that even reasonable? Thanks for reading either way! :)
