  2. I'm looking for the Westin Galleria so I'm not going to book, but I am 99.9% certain you are correct, and this is the Le Meridien Dallas North.
  3. I'm looking at Dallas, 12/23-12/27 - although this hotel (with these same characteristics) appears to be coming up on a variety of dates. Thanks!
  4. Hello! The only 4.5* hotel in this area listed is the Westin Galleria, but the characteristics don't seem to match. Any idea? Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Indoor pool(s), Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower Best, -Adam
  5. Snagged this one with the Express Deals on Priceline. I was going to go for a 3* bidding, but the guarantee listed was for 7+ rating, which meant the Comfort Suites could have come up, which I really didn't want. This was listed as a guaranteed 9+, pool included, restaurant. I know a lot of folks have gotten some great deals in Indy, but I'm very happy with this win.
  6. Shoulda started lower... but won at $74/night. Right off the bat. Used the board PRICELINE link to buy. I remember pets allowed being one of the guaranteed amenities, 8/10 score also being listed.
  7. Thanks for sharing! I'm going to be trying to get this hotel soon myself. :-)
  8. Hey - congrats on your stay. I am looking to book this hotel in July, and wow - your rate is fantastic for it. Do you remember at all what Priceline showed when you booked it? What made you think it was this property versus some of the other similar ones? Thanks!!
  9. Most notably, this hotel was recommended by 100% of previous guests. However, upon an additional search, I found I'm nearly positive is the same hotel, and Hotwire said it was still gathering reviews. The price it showed for 2 adults, 0 children was $114, but I needed to ensure 2 beds, so booked it as 2 adults, 2 children, and it came up for 2 dollars more, as $116. The pop-up showed the following: 4-star Hotel in Detroit Downtown This Hotel features the following amenities: Pet friendly Indoor pool(s) Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Spa Services Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking
  10. One King West Hotel and Residence 1 KING WEST TORONTO, ON M5H 1A1 Amenities showed only Non-Smoking What's weird is that when I was booking before I committed, I was able to see a variety of ratings, but going back, I can't seem to find it anymore. I do remember that most of the ratings were 4/5, but the value for money metric showed 3/5. If I can find these again, I'll post the exact details. Overall, pretty happy with the pick - we'll see how this one turns out!
  11. So, we finished our stay at the Fairmont Royal York. If you like old historical, ornate hotels, this will work for you. We requested a "renovated" room upon check-in, and got a king on the third floor. The rooms are rather small, but the room was comfortable, and honestly, I couldn't imagine what the non-renovated rooms look like if this was a renovated one. The wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom, and fixtures in the bathroom weren't properly installed - things were falling off. We needed an extra day in Toronto so bid again for our last night, and won at the Marriott, further north, but which was closer to where we wanted to be, and honestly, was a much more comfortable hotel. As for the Fairmont, I wouldn't really recommend it. It was lovely, and for the price we won it for, it was great - but at full price, I would be a little disappointed.
  12. Last minute - needed an extra day in Toronto... booked same day. Started the bidding at $90, and it was immediately accepted. Beautiful hotel. Definitely recommended!
  13. Started at $90, went to $95, $100, then won at $105. Not sure about this place based on the reviews, but it seems very central and has easy access to public transit. Sounds like the hotel may need quite a bit of work. $210 total plus $38.02 tax.
  14. Hotel Adagio 9/9/11 - 9/10/11 3.5* union square west - nob hill boutique no smoking fitness restaurants business center hi speed internet Best Value icon recommended in 95% of hotwire reviews In the details, it says it is 4.0 TripAdvisor rating, but that is not correct when you go to TripAdvisor - it is in fact a bit less. Strangely, I saw, refreshing the search page after i already purchased, an almost identical hotel pop up, but without the 95% recommendation, saying they're still gathering ratings. Otherwise exactly the same, down to the TripAdvisor rating. Don't know if this recommendation line is sometimes omitted, or whether it is a different hotel.
  15. Would love it if anyone ends up getting this Hotwire property if they would update this thread, or post a new one. I ended up going with the W on my last FLL trip through Hotwire using advice from this board - but skipped over this condo because it seemed like too much of a gamble, and we needed three rooms. It'd be great to know for future trips what this is. As always, many thanks to the admins, and to everyone posting here!!
  16. First, THANK YOU to all the previous posters reporting this hotel. You helped so much - so thank you thank you thank you. I was on the phone with a friend who us Chicagoans are meeting in Ft Lauderdale. He booked 2 rooms, I booked one - and we both made sure we had the exact same amenities when we booked it. We were very excited that it could be the W, but would have been happy I'm sure with whatever we got. Needless to say, we were very very happy when the W popped up. To those searching for this hotel.... the following are the exact amenities listed. I think this hotel is readily identifiable by the wavy icon indicating oceanfront. I had to change up the search a bit before this sucker popped up, an idea suggested in a post by one of the admins here, although I can't remember who (thank you!). I ended up having to search for 2 adults and 1 child - and then was able to see this one. 4-star hotel in Fort Lauderdale Beach This hotel features the following amenities: Oceanfront Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities High-speed Internet Access Spa Services W Fort Lauderdale Beach 401 North Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33304
  17. I'm also trying to identify this hotel... I'm looking at 11/11 through 11/14. It's listed at $114/night.... Amenities: Near Beach Studio Fully-equipped Kitchen Smoke Free Rooms Daily Housekeeping Air Conditioning In-Room Laundry Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) 24-hour Front Desk Laundry Facilities High-speed Internet Access Condo Recommended in 100% of customer reviews swiss, did you end up booking it? If so, could you post the result?
