  1. A few days after I started this post , the resort fee was mentionned After my win for my other stay ( see my other priceline bidding post ) I received a few hours later a mail with a 10% discount for a new reservation so price went down from $91 to $82 a night plus taxes and resort fee Don't think I can find a better deal than this one and it's nice to try another hotel amenities where mentionned earlier in this post As usual , used the PRICELINE links on your site to begin my search
  2. easy to know this one in Vegas before you bid as currently there is only one 5* hotel without a casino north of strip , Saw it on PRICELINE EXPRESS for $75.00 a night so started bidding at $65.00 and added zones with $1 more until I reached $72.00 Stayed already here , so I know what I am getting , for these dates the others 5* are more expensive Took another hotel for my second 4 night stay ( reported in another hotel thread ) as I received a mail a few hours later with a 10% discount on my next reservation As usual , used the PRICELINE links on your site for my search
  3. Thanks for your replie AaronJB Considering all you mentioned , would your guess also be Cosmopolitan for this one like thereuaere said ? for sure , if I could avoid the $154 resort fee , this would be a great deal No particular hotel in mind for my search , I always look for a good deal , especially in Vegas stayed already in Mandalay Bay , Vdara , Aria , Trump and HRH Hard Rock , all good stays
  4. thanks patmcpsu for your replie just started this topic to know if there are hotels without resort fees and , if nothing is mentionned when you book on Priceline or Hotwire , do you have to pay at the hotel or not anyway , I emailed Priceline and this was the answer i got " If there is nothing mentioned on the contract page, hotel might not charge the mandatory fees. However, your confirmed hotel may charge yourcard certain mandatory hotel specific service fees. For specific information on additional hotel fees, we ask that you contact the hotel directly as they will be applying these charges. I would recommend you to contact the hotel beforehand and confirm the same. We look forward to serving your future travel needs for your trip to LasVegas. Sincerely," Answered that it is hard to contact the hotel if you don't know the name before actually booking !! just found it strange that this is the only express deal that doesn't put the fees on the total when you try to book ( the 2 5*hotels Las Vegas south offers are still on Priceline for my dates , a $87 a night deal with $156.80 fees and a $89 deal no fees ) even when I try a " name your own price " , the $156.80 fees are mentionned anyway , still looking for a good deal and have almost 5 months left to decide
  5. Hi I found this PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for a 4 night stay arriving 05/29/17 leaving 06/02/17 1 room it says 5 star express deal hotel and casino $89.00 a night ameneties are Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities strange thing about this one , when I click to book , it says nowhere mandatory fee to pay at hotel ?? just the rate and the taxes for a total of $425.76 for the 4 night stay for example , the $87 a night deal for a 5* south strip , same dates , ads $156.80 to pay at hotel to my total what would your guess be , or is it an error and I will have to pay at the hotel ? Thanks in advance for your answer As always , used the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on your site to start my search
  6. hi Viabib it wasn't bad at al , better than the reviews on Tripadvisor it is more a resort or timeshare than a hotel and not really a 4* to my experience but the room was clean and comfortable the only thing bothering me was the connecting room , sound was not isolated , when the neighbours talked it was if they where standing next to me ( not kidding!) for the rest of the hotel , didn't go anywhere else than my room so don't know if the pool area or restaurants are any good would stay here again if rates are better but would ask for a not connecting room hope this helps you are anyone else
  7. tried anyway to bid on the 3.5* for a little under the 4* rate on expressdeals and got the 4* the hotel has many mixed reviews , but as I am in this area at least once a year , I took the risk to bid and maybe end up with this one , so now I will know how good or bad this hotel is for future travels the hotel has a $17.00 a night resort fee that Priceline took of my invoice and that I have to pay at the hotel
  8. I am looking for a 3 night stay arriving January 15th in the Ft Lauderdale or Miami area I usually end up getting a room in a good 3.5* or 4* hotel for something between $80.00 to $110.00 plus taxes got the Doubletree Sunrise for my one night stay arriving january 23th for $110.00 taxes included just want to avoid getting the Bonaventure in Weston that doesn't have very good reviews always use the PRICE.LINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin my search
  9. I can see in the Priceline Express deals a 4* hotel that I want to avoid that is less expensif than the 3.5* in the list if I bid on " name your own price" for a 3.5* , is it possible that I will be given the 4* ? if so , is there a way to avoid this ? The 3.5* doesn't show up anymore in the express deals and I want to try to get it with bidding , it's in the Weston Plantation area in Ft Lauderdale and I don't want the Bonaventure hotel ( got the doubletree for other dates on my trip that has better reviews ) thanks in advance for your answer

  21. thanks to the both of you for your replies would have been my guess also , just got confused with the " Arizona Inn " name I also know these are not the best hotels in Page ( 1 out of 22 on tripadvisor ) but all other hotels are much more expensif than this one and not sure if they are better
