  1. I used the Better Bidding PRICELINE link and used $50, 4 stars & Scottsdale area to get this deal on the first try. Thanks!
  2. Thereuare, Thanks for you help... We ended up using the BetterBidding HOTWIRE link to get the Holiday Inn Express Boston Downtown for $152 per night. Quite a bit more than we had wanted, but we thought it was worth it to be downtown. The amenities listed - smoke free rooms, complimentary breakfast, fitness center, business center & high-speed internet access. I had also tried PRICELINE using a bid of $125 for these dates using the Quincy Market, Copley Square & Waterfront areas, but did not have any luck. John
  3. We are open to suggestions for both level and zones. We would like to stay around $100, get the best hotel we can in an area conducive to sight seeing. We are interested in lower levels as long as they are in a good part of town. Thanks!
  4. This will be our first time visiting Boston. We will be sightseeing and would like to get a hotel close to public transportation as well as near most of the major attractions. We were interested in the 4* Hilton Financial District and tried the Priceline Quincy Market/FaneuilHall/Financial District at $100, but did not have any luck. Any suggestions??? We would like to stay right around $100 and are open to location as long as it's a nicer hotel and good for sightseeing. Thanks!
  5. I think we will skip EWR for the savings. Would JFK or LGA be better??? What would be the easiest way to get to the hotel??? How much would a cab be? Thanks again!
  6. Using the BetterBidding airfare checker I have found the following rates: Orbitz shows Continental non-stop for $343 Travelocity shows Continental non-stop for $341 Expedia has the same Continental non-stop for $341, but also lists a Bargain Fare for $277. You cannot choose you departure time with the Bargain rate. Hotwire also has a similar rate of $342. They show their Discounted Fares as being sold out. Should I wait to see if the rates go down between now and then? La Guardia and JFK are about $100 less, but I'm not sure that it would be worth the extra hassel since we are staying in Jersey City. Would Priceline be any better??? Thanks!
  7. Totally Wicked! I got the Hyatt Regency Jersey City for 55$ per night for the entire 7 nights using the SavingsBarn.com link. I could not believe it! I chickened out on trying the $48 as you suggested for my first bid. I figured that the $7 wasn't worth getting rejected. I was really ready to book the $83 Hotwire rate and be done with it. Do you have any suggestions on which airport we should use? I'm assuming Newark, but??? Thanks again for your help!!! John
  8. All nights are available individually on Hotwire. 6/29 $81 30th $88 1st $78 2nd $78 3rd $87 4th $85 5th $82 So you are saying to bid $55 per night individually on Priceline, and book any rejected nights on Hotwire? What is the risk of getting another 3 star hotel other than the Hyatt on Priceline? Which airports would be the best to use for this hotel? Thanks Again!
  9. Looking to stay at the Hyatt (their site shows $279/night) or the Doubletree (their site shows $199/night). Hotwire shows a 3.5 star hotel available for $83/night for Hoboken-Jersey City. Is this the Hyatt? The amenities show a restaurant, pool and business center. Could we do better on priceline? We would rather stay at the Hyatt, so I'm assuming that we would risk getting the Doubletree if we used priceline. Thanks!
