I've been looking on Priceline the last week or so and prices are so high downtown I decided to look towards O'Hare and just take the Blue Line in. I bid $55 for a 4* O'Hare South property - was rejected, but was immediately offered by Priceline to raise my price to $63 and try again without changing any information. I figured since it is so last minute I would take the bait and won the Hyatt Regency O'Hare. A nice savings from downtown prices and the only inconvenience is that my wife and I will have to take the EL in.

I am going that same weekend and I guess since your going to Fenway, you'll be there for the Cubs series?! I'm coming in from Chicago and have been looking on Priceline the last few days. I have Bid up to $109 for a 3 1/2* in the Copley Square - Theatre District with no luck. I've used the rebidding zones Fenway Park, Brighton - Brookline, North Cambridge - Arlington, South Boston, and Medford - Somerville. That is for 3 1/2* so you would have to re-adjust strategy for a 3*. Let me know if you have any luck.

Started at $95 and continued increments of $5 over the course of a week until $115 was accepted at the Marriott on the Magnificent Mile. After Tax the total came out to almost $275...Not bad for a great property at an even better location!
