The Residence Inn had some concerning reviews. Decided to stay at a friends condo for this stay.

The 2* remains the same. Depending on what the hotels are....I'm ready to book.

I'm not sure if this site is reporting PRICELINE EXPRESS deals, but I purchased this hotel for $49.00 per night, plus I used the discount code "playoffs" for an additional 10% off. Amenities Free Breakfast, free internet, indoor or outdoor pool, free parking, pets allowed, fitness center, and bed choice was available. Guest score was 7.0 out of 10. I've stayed in this hotel before and was pleased with it, so I was happy with this outcome. I used the PRICELINE link to support betterbidding.com!

Thanks for info. I decided to book the Beachcomber (Pompano Beach) directly through the hotel website for $79/night. I checked to see if the rate was offered through priceline...so that I could support this site, but it wasn't one of the hotels listed :-(

Just wanted to give an update on the hotel. The hotel was clean and looked new or recently renovated, great location, had 2 washers and dryers on site, a microwave and min-fridge in the room, offered a free breakfast and newspaper, and the staff was friendly. After we checked in, we noticed that the bathtub drain was clogged. Maintenance arrived and fixed the drain within 10 minutes of calling the front desk. The cons of the hotel... There is only one ice machine in the hotel (on the 1st floor). This was kind of a pain because we were on the 3rd floor. The juice that they offered at breakfast was terrible. I tried the orange juice and it was EXTREMELY watered down. The rest of the breakfast was decent. The pool was small, but heated (which is a plus). They added chemicals to the pool in the middle of the day.....when it was being used by guests. The chlorine and other chemicals were so strong that we left the pool when they did this. The walls were pretty thin. From our room we could hear everything that was going on out in the hallway and when you were in the hallway, you could hear conversations that were occurring in the rooms. Overall, we were happy with the hotel and I would recommend it to others.

I started out at $35.00 and they said if I increased by $15, they would accept at $50. I declined and kept increasing by $1 until they accepted at $39. Glad that every room in this hotel has a microwave and mini-fridge. La Quinta Downtown (1555 5th Ave) I used the link :-)

Hello! Can you please tell me if this hotel was actually a 2.5*....when you put your offer in? I put my offer in for a 2.5* in Naples and PRICELINE said that they would accept $50, but thought I would try again in a day or 2. Everything else that I see online (TripAdvisor and hotel.com) shows the Fairfield Inn as a 2.5*. Thanks!

Offer accepted $45.00 at 3.5* Doubletree Guest Suites (2601 Richmond Rd., Lexington, KY) ***We were very impressed with this hotel. The amenities were excellent -- free parking, great outdoor pool, good customer service, and the rooms were spacious and had french doors leading out to a balcony. The tub in the bathroom was large enough for 2-3 people...it was HUGE! Although we really enjoyed this hotel, I think that it's important to note that they allow pets, and I could definitely smell (dog) in our room.

Offer accepted $45.00 - Hyatt Regency Lexington ****This hotel was wonderful. It was clean, spacious, the beds were comfortable, customer service was excellent, good location, and the amenities were wonderful (great indoor pool and fitness area). They also allowed us to check-in early.

Offer accepted - $55.00 at the Radisson Plaza Lord Baltimore ***I wasn't impressed with this hotel at all. If you want 2 beds, you have to pay an additional $20.00 a night. The hotel isn't in a very good area and is surrounded by bus stops. There were numerous strip clubs a few blocks down and the parking garage was across the street from the hotel. It didn't even connect to the hotel. We had to run in the rain with our luggage to get to the hotel. There is also no down escalator in the parking garage....you have to take the stairs with all your luggage. The hotel room was larger than most, but wasn't very clean. You also heard police car sirens all night long. I wouldn't stay here again. Also, I put in my offer for a 2.5* and was assigned this 3* hotel. Priceline said that if a higher level hotel is willing to accept your offer, you will get that hotel -- no exceptions.

Offered Accepted @ $45.00 3* - Courtyard by Marriott 2501 Atlantic Ave. Virginia Beach, VA ***This was a very nice hotel to stay in....although they didn't have an outdoor pool. This pool inside was small and cloudy. The view from the rooms was OUTSTANDING! This is an oceanfront hotel.
