  1. Began at $109 with Rittenhouse Square, realized that the Express bid had it for $139 so upped my bid to $129, added Convention Center. Won 2 rooms. Used your PRICELINE link. Thanks.
  2. 4*, $95. No amenities listed. I've never seen that before? Any insight? Thanks.
  3. My nephew is going to be super stoked. It's his and his bride's pre-wedding present. $109.57 per night (incl tax). Used the above HOTWIRE box to book room. 4. $139. This was the second room, same hotel, I got on Hotwire, the first being for April 12. Same exact amenities as the first, $2 more for this night. Hyatt Century City Amenities See description Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby
  5. I booked a second room for the following Sunday night, 4/15, $139 this time. Would you like to me start a separate thread? It's also the Hyatt Century City. Amenities See description Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby
  6. Sorry, old habit for using Priceline for so long. It was Hotwire. Amenities Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby
  7. A typical win here. Bummer that they charge to get into fitness center, my mom likes to use gym. Used link above to bid. Thanks. Need to add a second night 2 days later, will bid again or add nights to existing reservation.
  8. Amenities See description Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Spa Services W Hollywood. I saw this at $120 the other day, it was $130 last night, then I grabbed it for $127 today. Incl tax, $602.98 for 4 nights. It's my parents' 30th anniversary and they're pretty hip so the W seems like a great choice. Used the PRICELINE banner up at the top of page as always to book.
  9. This is a very decent hotel in a great neighborhood, close to everything. I'm pretty sure you can park at the mall/Kodak Theater parking lot. It's a short walk (up a tough hill, but close). Info here: Self Parking: Entrances on Highland Avenue and Orange Drive. Effective July 1, 2011, parking rates are as follows: $2.00 for up to 2 hours with validation from participating retailers and restaurants (listed below). $2.00 for up to 4 hours with validation from participating cinemas. $1.00 for every 15 minutes thereafter. Daily maximum is $10.00. Flat $10.00 rate after 10pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The structure is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Remember to use any one of the new Self-Serve Pay Kiosks before you return to your car. a call to them couldn't hurt. Parking Contact Information: New South Parking (323) 468-0720 Have fun.
  10. Expedia rate was $169 so I started at $113, Strip South PRICELINE countered at $143, so I made my own bid at $117 using Near Strip West as a free re-bid. No go, so I went to $121, added Boulder Strip as my free re-bid. Won. FYI, there is a resort fee of about $20 per night. These fees are not a welcome addition to the Vegas scene but we always use the spa and fitness center and most places used to charge for this. Used your PRICELINE links above. Thanks.
  11. Started with Beverly Hills/West Hollywood at $112 (Based on wins for the Hyatt posted recently), rejected. Added Hollywood, bid $119, rejected. Added Brentwood/Westwood (Palomar was a likely suspect), bid $123, accepted at Intercontinental Century City. Won the Hyatt the last few times for Mom so she moves next door into a slightly nicer place this time (balconies!) Used your PRICELINE link. Thanks for your help.
  12. Good win, we get that hotel a lot. The #4 and #704 Express buses run a block away from you on Santa Monica Blvd. These buses go from downtown to the beach. mta.net "Downtown" Beverly Hills is about a mile away, a 20 minute walk, very pleasant. There's also a huge mall right next to your hotel with some surprisingly good dining options. Don't miss Clementine, a French-type bakery a few blocks from hotel for breakfast.
  13. Made a very last minute reservation, got the Chamberlain. Since it took so long for Hotwire to transmit the reservation to the hotel, we got upgraded into a very nice suite. 4* Chamberlain West Hollywood Amenities: Suite, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet
  14. Began bid at $95, added Hollywood, went to $100, accepted, 4 nights. I used your PRICELINE link but there was an issue with my Dad's card at first so I'm hoping you got the credit for this. If not, I'm always doing this, will get you again.
  15. Thanks. 11/23-11/27 (4 nights). I also found a thread further down where you suspected it was the Roosevelt. I agree.
  16. I've studied the hotel lists pretty thoroughly and watch PRICELINE and HOTWIRE all the time. I've not seen a "Bed Choice" pop up before in Hollywood. The Renaissance? 4* $129 Bed Choice Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Center Internet Access Could this also be the Roosevelt adding a bed choice? Thanks. When I'm ready to leap, I'll use your HOTWIRE links.
  17. Why wouldn't you want the Sofitel? It's a gorgeous hotel and very conveniently located.
  18. The Roosevelt is right across from the Hollywood/Highland subway and it's a very short walk to the Renaissance. Nice job, good price, fun hotel.
