  1. Appears to be a previously unidentified hotel in the LAX area. 3* Los Angeles (Airport LAX) LAX Hacienda Hotel 525 N. Sepulveda Blvd., El Segundo,CA,90245 (310) 615-0015 One night, two people, 2/26-2/27/2009 $59 tax: 14.71 total: 73.71 Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Pool(s) Laundry Facilities High-speed Internet Access Based on non-brand name and VERY mixed reviews I have submitted a research request on the star level.
  2. Starting bid was $80, offered an instant rebid for $22 additional, declined and rebid at $87.
  3. Keepin' it simple... Hilton Paris March 21th-25th 2007 1 room @ $107 per night x 6 nights=$428.00 Taxes and fees=$55.93 Total Price=$483.93
  4. $112.16 with tax. Hotel was booked the same day as the reservation. Ameniites: Restaurant(s), Fitness Center, Spa Services, High-speed Internet Access, Business Center
  5. Stayed here last year for $111 on Hotwire during the same weekend, decided to try our luck on Priceline and save a few bucks. Total for two rooms with tax: $889.02.
  6. Success! Thank you for your help. Bid accepted 4*, River North, $85. Renaissance Chicago Hotel Check-In Date: Saturday, April 23, 2005 Check-Out Date: Sunday, April 24, 2005 River North Area One West Wacker Drive Chicago, Illinois 60601 Your Offer Price: $85.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $85.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $20.37 Total Charges: $105.37
  7. Ah, good question. Location, in this case location is more important than price. $90 in RN is better than $75 in NMA.
  8. Thanks Aaron and thereuare. I would be interested in a suggested strategy as my logic is often flawed on this. Max bids: $90 for a 4*, 80 on a 3*. If my top prices are out a whack, let me know, I may consider hotwire. My first choice is a 4* in River North, 2nd choice would be a 4* in NMA, 3rd a 3* in NMA. I would not consider a 3* in River North, however. If worse comes to worse I can hit the Hilton Chicago in the loop, however I would prefer to stay further north. Thanks in advance.
  9. I am currently bidding for this night, my preference is the group in the River North catagory. Below is my bidding strategy so far I have failed on all bids: 4 STAR- 55 - River North...rejected 60 - Midway...Free Rebid...rejected 65 - NMA...rejected 70 - Lincoln Pk....Free Rebid...rejected 75 - Skokie...Free Rebid...rejected 3 STAR- 70 - NMA...rejected 75 - Lincoln Pk....Free Rebid...rejected 80 - Skokie...Free Rebid...rejected I looked on Hotwire and see there is a $104 that I believe is the Hyatt, not a bad deal if this is true, but it seems I should be winning at my price levels on Priceline, however I have been very wrong before. Any comments suggestions would be appreciated. It seems to me I may have been able to close Priceline and reopen the rebidding after trying all the rebids on River North to bid on NMA with all my rebids still in tact is that correct? Thanks!
  10. We booked the Venetian on Hotwire last December for $110. (I realize you booked on Priceline...). Desk staff treated us no differently. Due to water supply maintenance in the main tower we upgraded to the Venezia Towers, no reference to Hotwire was ever made. Congrats on your win, this is an exceptional hotel, to say the least. Enjoy!
  11. First time poster... hope I get it right... Two rooms. I have been trying for nearly two months on this one. Unsucessful 3* bids at $46, $48, $55, $60. Also followed up all bids by $5 additional and adding the 2.5*. Already had the Marriott booked as my cancelable backup for $119. I was hoping for the Hyatt, however Hotwire has been showing the hotel as $211. I disected the nights and found Saturday was the problem. Not sure if there is an event blocking the inventory of rooms. Bids tonight, specifically, $48 - 3*, denied, added 2.5* up to $65 - accepted: ------------------------------------------------------------- Courtyard By Marriott Jersey City Newport Check-In Date: Friday, May 27, 2005 Check-Out Date: Monday, May 30, 2005 Jersey City 540 Washington Blvd Jersey City, New Jersey 07310 Your Offer Price: $65.00 Number of Rooms: 2 Number of Nights: 3 Subtotal: $390.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $66.16 Total Charges: $456.16 Thanks for all of your past information, I intend to contribute on all purchases in the future.
