I wonder if this might be the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch. If it is, there is an additional approx. $15/day resort fee once you get there. As far as kids stuff, it would be fantastic for kids. There is an area of the pool that is a beach with sand and there is a waterslide. We stayed there a couple of years ago booked on PRICELINE and loved it.
I just stayed in the Sheraton Bloomington last weekend. Booked through HOTWIRE for $52/night. I see someone on here recently booked it for your dates for $45. It's a 3.5 star in Bloomington West and right next to the Sofitel. I have stayed there many times and we really enjoy it. Pool is clean but nothing pretty to look at, but we don't use it anyway.
Just a warning about the Hyatt. We stayed there once and were told it had a sauna but in order to use these "upgraded" amenities, we had to pay extra. Not sure, but be warned that the tennis might not be included.
