Hi Everyone! Well, is time again for another family cruise and I am in charge of booking everything... including pre and post cruise accomodations. Last time out we had a large family suite at the Lago Mar in Ft. Lauderdale and it was spectacular! I know that San Juan does not have a similar property, but I am wondering what sort of bid I might have to place in order to get 4 rooms at a resort, like Coronado or Caribe Hilton in the first week of February next year. February 1-2nd to be exact, pre cruise. We are 8 adults and a nearly 4 year old. I am thinking that February is high season, but I was hoping to get something for less than $200 a night. Anyone have any experience with this, or have already had a winning bid someplace for next Feb? Thanks so much! Olwyn

HI Everyone! We are taking a cruise on October 9th, and will have a total of 8 family members travelling to Ft. Lauderdale for one night pre-cruise and 2 nights post. Would love to have the opportunity to stay in a 4 star property, but am concerned that with 8 people, what if someone has to back out of the reservation within the next 7 months? Unlikely but possible. Want 2 double rooms to house all 8 of us. Any suggestions? Should I leave it later to bid on Hotwire? Thanks so much. Olwyn :)
