  1. Gents, Thanks again for your help. This time, I could not pass up the Studio Terrace room at the Cosmo for 151/nt at Marriott.com (a similar rate was available via "list view" Priceline but I booked direct because I am a Marriott reward member --- sorry!), but wanted to let you know. Cheers.
  2. 5-star, sorry! OK, thanks! I've enjoyed the Palazzo and Venetian, and to a lesser extent Vdara. I am debating trying Aria or Cosmo for this trip, but haven't ruled out Palazzo (or Wynn) for which there is a slightly higher priced PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for the same dates. I'll make sure to update you and use the PRICELINE link for my purchase.
  3. Looking for help identifying this Las Vegas Strip South Area Casino Hotel for 1/13/16-1/16/16: 107/nt (with bed choice, although it only allows a single choice of Deluxe Room) 97.44 resort fee (total) GUEST SCORE: 8.0 out of 10 (or higher) GUEST FAVORITE AMENITIES: Free Parking Business Center Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center Thanks in advance!
  4. Just wanted to report back that the Palazzo is a great hotel, at a great location on the north strip. Adjacent and part of the Venetian/Palazzo complex, it has a Walgreens right next to it as well for your needs. This hotel for anything under $150/night is a steal. Excellent service as well, from the front desk, to in-suite dining, to housekeeping. The pool area/hot tubs are nice, probably not the best on the strip but more than adequate. Views are excellent, and the rooms top notch.
  5. Correct on Palazzo! Very happy with our win, and glad to use the PRICELINE LINKS to make the purchase!
  6. FYI we never did go on this trip. Wasn't anything other than schedule conflicts.
  7. Please help identify the hotel, thanks! $135/night $28/resort fee/night 9+ guest favorite Guaranteed Amenities: Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Restaurant Fitness Center Free Parking Business Center Assuming Venetian? Do not want Trump.
  8. I did add one more freezone bid at $155 which was also not accepted. Indeed I see the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal has gone up in price or is a different deal entirely. Our trip is on hold for now for other reasons. I will confirm either way once we decide for sure to book or not.
  9. Thus far no bid has been accepted: BID - AREA ADDED 120 - Las Vegas Strip Vicinity South 125 - Las Vegas Strip North 129 - Summerlin 134 - Near Las Vegas Strip West 137 - Nellis - Las Vegas Speedway 139 - Henderson 144 - Boulder Strip 148 - Las Vegas Airport I'm currently stewing on if I want to continue to raise my bid, take the $155 PRICELINE EXPRESS or HOTWIRE hot RATE, or move on to booking direct with a 4/4.5* hotel. Stay tuned!
  10. Cheers! Thanks very much for the information (and editing my OP with proper hyperlinks)! I will follow the bid course of action and keep you updated with that progress.
  11. Hi guys, Longtime fan. Looking for a bit of help in getting a 5* room for 08/09 - 08/11. Prefer Aria, Cosmo, Palazzo; Avoid Four Seasons. Mainly I don't want to stay at the Four Seasons due to its very southern location. Curiously, Four Seasons shows up on BB's HOTWIRE hotel list but not on the Hotel List for PRICELINE, although I see it on the PRICELINE site. I don't see any instances of the 4 Seasons being won on either a bid or a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal, but I still wonder if I could get it. I'd like to stay at or under $155/nt. Here are my questions: 1. Do I need to worry much about getting the 4 Seasons. I realize this is a tough question to answer. 2. Please help me ID this PRICELINE express deal for Las Vegas Strip Vicinity South: -$155/nt ($51.08 Taxes & Fees) -Indoor or Outdoor Pool -Restaurant -Business Center -Guest Rating: 8.0 My guess is Vdara **Notably, I see a hot Rate hotel on HOTWIRE listed similarily for The Strip-South Area hotel, not sure if it's the same or will help your assessment. I would be willing to book on either site. -$155/nt ($52.40 Tax recovery charges + fees) -Pool(s) -Business Center -High-Speed Internet Access -Golf Nearby -Spa Services -Accessibility for the blind -Accessibility for the deaf -Accessible path of travel -In-room Accessible -Accessible bathroom -Roll-in shower 3. Based upon the high taxes of the PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal, I will probably opt to bid in order to push the room rate/nt to around $120-$130. I prefer all 5* in South Strip Vicinity EXCEPT 4 Seasons, but would accept any 5* in North Strip. What would you recommend for a bidding strategy, if I have given you enough information.
  12. Marriot Courtyard SW Lakewood, $52 ... 9/10/2010-9/12/2010 ... two rooms. Started using BB Priceline link ; bid $42 for 2.5* in Denver West. It was not accepted so I added Denver Southwest-Lakewood (as I was willing to stay in either zone in the first place) and increased my bid to $52. It was accepted (and upgraded to a 3*) by Marriot Courtyard SW Lakewood. Looks like a good deal; time will tell. Long time lurker first time poster. Thanks for the forums! EDIT: Apologies for the incorrect topic syntax; I would disown myself if I could since it doesn't look I can edit it.
