Seems like this is the only downtown Vancouver hotel on Priceline!? Bid $95 for Downtown, the counter offered $115...No Thanks! Added Granville zone and upped my bid to $99 and VOILA!! $238US all in for both nights.

Tried every combination of bids+zones imaginable before I finally locked down a hotel in Chicago (it's Monday and I leave on Thursday!?) Started bidding as low as $80 and went up to $110 for 4* in NMA/River North area for the past couple weeks. Finally worked my way up by adding zones and bidding $115 on Franklin Park Area, Hyde Park , Midway Airport Area (MDW), Skokie - Niles - Evanston and North Michigan Ave - River North Area then VOILA!! Mixed reviews and seems like it's hit and miss on whether you get a desireable room or one you'd want to change...hopefully it works out and I'm very pleased with it's location!

I'm there for a basketball tournament that wknd. Everyone's staying at the Holiday Inn Hampton Coliseum on West Mercury Blvd. There's a 3* on Hotwire for $64 which I believe is the very same Holiday Inn Hampton Coliseum (as reported on this board) but it has very poor reviews so I don't really want to stay there. We have a group rate of $65 so I'm not going to take chances over a buck. There is a Best Western next door to the Holiday Inn on West Mercury Blvd which I wouldn't mind staying at. I was hoping the 2.5* hotel in my inquiry was indeed the very same Best Western...
