  1. Started off at $115.00 got rejected but won the Hyatt regency Newport Beach at $120.00
  2. Thanks for this posting. I used the information and tried $125 and got rejected but got accepted at $127. July 12th one night.... Thanks for the posting!! it obviously helped me :D
  3. Started at $80 and went up by $5.00 until i got "Congradulated". This is Superbowl Weekend and if I can't be in Indianapolis, Vegas is the next best place to be.
  4. I wanted a 4* but bid up to $80.00 unsucessfully. Hotwire wanted $62.00 for a 3.5* in the same area. Knowing this i went back to Priceline and bid $55.00. I won the Radisson which (according to Better Bidding) is the same hotel as was being offered on Hotwire. I reserved 2 rooms for 3 nights, I only saved $42.00 with priceline over hotwire, but i like the gamble of priceline and on the Radisson website the best rate is $129.00 so all is good
  5. Free cookies is a plus, for $230 per night they better have Chocolate Chip cookies, none of this oatmeal raison crap, that's only acceptable at under $150 per night :)
  6. Hotwire had MTE for $232 so i started Priceline out at $115 and as i got rejected i kept adding .......MTW, Central Prk, Hells Kitchen, TS, UES, UWS and finally hit $230 and got the Doubletree... Price on their website shows best price as $279 so i saved some but what an adventure getting there. :)
  7. I saw the previous win in Kona at $87.00 and tried to get it lower, but failed. Ended up getting it at the exact same rate. Any time you can get a resort in Hawaii for $87 you gotta be happy. My next effort will be Waikoloa and Maui.
  8. Hi there hope you can help identify this Condo in S.Beach, FL. Amenties listed are: Condo, Near Beach, Studio, Fully equiped kitchen, Airport Shuttle, breakfast, house keeping, and Air Conditioning Any ideas?
  9. Got $65.00 this on my first try, maybe should have started at $60.00 but can't compain. Rooms at the hotel directly start at $120.00. I used the PRICELINE link
  10. Thanks for this posting. I will bid the same for my November stay. What a great place this BetterBidding is.
  11. Reviewed the other posters and bid $95.00 hoping for the Marriott. PHEW, we got it on the first try. I suppose i should have started the bidding at $85.00 Anyhow, the Marriott is posting the hotel for $289.00 and the best on Hotwire was $186 so i suppose $95.00 is a steal. Thanks to all the posters on here! :)
  12. Their "Single room" has a queen bed but not and option for 2 singles or a single + cot (roll away). If I were staying with my wife obviously no problem, but since I
  13. This is the first time that I've encountered this problem booking through Priceline. I called the hotel to ask for 2 double beds in this "All Suites" Affinia Manhattan hotel. The reservations told me that although the hotel in an "All Suites" there are just a few single rooms (not suites) that only accomidate a single bed. These are the room booked through Priceline. I commented that they don't even show that room existing on their website but she assured me that they exist even though they don't advertise them on their website. Because there are 2 of us going, i needed to upgrade to a regular room that had the option of a second bed. This is the first hotel that i've ever encountered through priceline that discriminates based on where you booked/how much you paid.
  14. Got this on my first attempt and am quite pleased with the deal. Affinia Manhattan
  15. Got this on my first attempt and am quite pleased with the deal.
  16. bid $75. rejected added a different zone and got $80
  17. Just needed 1 night in NYC and saw 3 1/2 stars on Hotwire for $178. so tried $165. on Priceline. BOOM hit it on the first try. I guess i should have started at $150.00 who knows, sounds like an amazing price for the Grand Hyatt New York.
  18. $50.00 was my opening bid. I'm very happy with this price considering Hilton.com has it for $189.00 :)
  19. Thanks for your posting 'thegize' you helped me get a 3* the following week for $50.00 at the Hilton.
  20. Started off at $60.00 and went up $5.00. Very happy with this win.
  21. Started @ $40.00 and went up by $5.00 until i hit it at $55.00. Hotel in $119.00 directly, I'm a happy Buffalo
  22. I haven't stayed at the Wellington in 3 years, but back then it was a DUMP! The location can't be beat, but the rooms are tiny (not just small) and in need of updating. If you saw the movie "Borat" he stayed at the Wellington..... I'll be interested to hear your comments after your stay..
  23. 3.5-star hotel in DFW North and Grapevine Area Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access It does not list a swimming pool, but the Hyatt website lists and shows a picture of the pool.
  24. Thereuare is right on. Based on his estimations I booked the 3.5* for DWF and it was indeed the Hyatt Regency DFW. Thanks Thereuare!!!!!!!!!!
  25. Tried Priceline and was rejected for $80.00 for a 4*. Went on earlier posting here where it was believed the 3.5 was the Hyatt Regency. The Hyatt's website for this property looked very nice so here i am.
