  2. I am currently trying to identify this same hotel. Were you able to identify it? Thank you for your help.
  3. Restaurant, Shuttle, Business Center, Smoke Free, Fittness Center, Pool, Hi Speed Internet
  4. Yes, there is a restaurant associated with this property. The icon did not show up but when I went back to check, I clicked on "see all" and it was listed there. Now the price is $66.
  5. Hyatt Regency Newport Beach -- Airport Shuttle; Fittness Center; Pool; Business Center; Hi Speed Internet Access; Golf Nearby; Tennis Nearby. We got this same hotel last year on Hotwire. I would not have called the room we were in a 4 star but for this price it is a good deal and the property is nice. I went through the Better Bidding HOTWIRE link. Thanks once again for your good information!
  6. I am looking at this same property for a trip coming up in October. Have you had any luck identifying it since this original post came out? Thanks!
  7. I did use the link from this site. I greatly appreciate people sharing their bids and your feedback which helps me out when I want to use Priceline or Hotwire and am glad to do the same in return. Thanks!

Date booked 8/21. 1st bid $50, 2nd bid $55, 3rd bid $60, 4th bid $70 (Priceline counter offered bid again right now at $85), 5th bid $75 (Priceline counter offered $90), 6th and final bid added Seal Beach/North Huntington/Fountain Valley (has no 4* hotels) $80. Accepted. Bid using PRICELINE link through Better Bidding.
  10. Thank you so much for your advice. I tried bidding $75 tonight and they counter offered with $90 now. I will try bidding by adding some of the areas that don't have 4 star hotels.
  11. I have been bidding on PRICELINE and this was my fourth bid for a 4 star hotel in Newport Beach. I started at $50 and was up to bidding $70 and PRICELINE offered that I could "Bid again right now" if I upped my bid by $15 to $85 for the same area and stars. I didn't know if it was a good idea to take it or if I should try again for $75 or $80 first. I don't need the room for five more days so I do have time to wait and rebid. Thank you for any insight or suggestions.
