Ammenities: Pet friendly Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower
  2. It is the InterContinental Mark Hopkins. I just made a purchase on Hotwire for that hotel for different dates.
  3. Help identifying this hotel. $148 per night in Union Square West - Nob Hill. 80% Hotwire approval. Pet friendly Indoor pool(s) Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Accessible for the blind Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Any ideas?
  4. It was the Wynn. $135 a night. Very happy with that.
  5. Amenities: Free Parking Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower 95% Customer Recommendation I think this is the Wynn but wouldn't mind a 2nd opinion. Thanks
  6. Used the HOTWIRE link to book this one. Amenities: Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool Restaurant Business Center High Speed Internet Spa Free Internet Several handicapped amenities
  7. Just wanted to update the post. I booked the Omni for $148 a night on a different website. Couldn't stomach the thought of paying $1 less on Hotwire and possibly ending up with the AT&T. It's refundable until 3 days before check-in so I'm going to keep checking rates here to see if anything changes.
  8. I used the Priceline Maps tool, which is awesome by the way, to check out bid ranges and what not. Can you make your bid high enough so that you are guaranteed not to be selected by some hotels? For instance if I want to bid $175 and hope for the W would that be too high for the AT&T? The highest bid I saw that "won" the AT&T was a $151. Not sure how the Priceline system works. Any links for information on that here? Thanks
  9. The hotel is also recommended in 90% of hotwire reviews. The W gets 4.5 out of 5 and the AT&T and Omni get 4 out of 5. Are the customer reviews where hotwire pulls the recommendations from?
  10. When I search these dates I'm showing a 4* for $156. Amenities include: Free Internet Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Fitness Center High Speed Internet Access This would include almost all of the 4* hotels listed for this area of Austin. What is throwing me on the description is the "Free Internet" amenity. It is not listed in the BB Hotwire amenity list. I was wondering if anybody else had run across this amenity and if it could help me narrow down the options. I don't want to stay at the AT&T and I would prefer the Omni or W but the others would work too. Any thoughts?
  11. My parents are going to Chicago in March and I told them I'd help them find a hotel. They want to stay close to the Magnificent Mile but the North Michigan Avenue area would work too. I found this listing through your HOTWIRE link 4* Magnificent Mile - Streeterville Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High Speed Internet Access From looking at the 4* hotels in that area it's a pretty generic list of amenities. The listing does say it is recommended in 90% of Hotwire reviews if that makes any difference. Any help would be appreciated.
  12. Thanks. These were the amenities for the 4* in Hollywood: Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Spa Services
  13. I broke down and took a 4* in Hollywood from Hotwire. It turned out to be the W. After looking at all the hotels and visiting their websites some hotels were completely booked and I didn't want to be left out. Got it for $240 a night. Feel like I got beat but it's still $80 cheaper per night than from booking on the W website. Looks like I waited too late for this weekend.
  14. Definitely post what you come up with. Farmer's Daughter and Grafton have both been recommended to me as backup options for my trip. Will be interested in your dates for your trip.
  15. Just bid $135 4* and was rejected. I'll try again later. And just in Hollywood.
  16. I'm open to West Hollywood/Beverly Hills also. I was recommended hotels in those two areas but am willing to look around. I'm also open to bumping my budget up maybe $50 a night for the right hotel. I was just hoping to get one around $125. I would like to book sooner rather than later but if it is in my best interest to wait and see if hotels have more unsold inventory than they were expecting I can do that. Maybe you guys can shed some light on that line of thinking.
  17. The last win or bid I had was over a year ago. I can't recall it exactly. I would like to stay at about $125 a night if I could. Looking through the board I've seen a few wins around there but the rates look nearly double that when I check Hotwire right now.
  18. I'm looking for a 4* in Hollywood Feb 9-12. I've only bid on hotels in Vegas so I'm wondering when would be a good time to bid for these dates in LA. From looking at the forum it looks like I'm a little early. Any help would be appreciated.
  19. Ok. I now see Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, and Spa Services. Thanks for the tip.
  20. Staying Oct 16-18 Amenities: Resort Suite Casino Fitness Center Pool Restaurants Business Center High Speed Internet Access From the descriptions posted it looks like the Venetian/Palazzo or Wynn but those descriptions include Spa Services as well. I do not want to stay at Trump. The rate is $159. Best I can find online for any of those is $214 a night before fees.
