Hello: I am looking for guidance on bidding for a hotel in downtown Portland. I would like to pay around $150/night or less, and would like as nice a hotel as possible in the downtown area. I'm looking for three nights checking in October 9th and leaving October 12th. Thanks for any tips!

I would like to stay in a 3 or 4 star hotel in SF on October 1--October 3.

I tried Civic Center, Financial District, USW, USE, Fisherman's Wharf, Marina, and SOMA...basically all the areas in the northern section of the priceline map.

I bid 80 and up 100. All were rejected.

I don't really care about the area so much as staying at the nicest possible hotel. I would like to get it for under $100, but $125/night is my maximum.

Any suggestions?
