  1. Oh that's strange, I thought I replied but I guess I didn't. Thank you AaronJB and Thereuare for your replies...the Andaz and Wyndham Fashion 26 are the types of hotels I was looking for within my price range! Our trip is just a low key getaway. I grew up in Queens and my boyfriend goes to Manhattan frequently for business; he is actually there for business on the weekday (get to expense the Library Hotel and the Ritz, woohoo!), so we just want a nice, comfy, clean hotel for the weekend while we eat, shop and see friends/family. We won't be seeing/doing touristy things so location isn't too important, though I would like a hotel that is within walking distance of a subway station. The flight from SF is cheaper than most nice hotels, so I definitely want the most bang for my buck/luxury that around $250/night can get me! Thanks so much!
  2. Hi, thanks for your reply! :) Yes, I am still seeing it, and it's acutally $175/night. Just did the search. 11/19-11/21 for 2 adults, 1 room. 3 Star. Empire State Building area. Do you recommend the Embassy Suites for that price per night if we just want a nice, clean, comfy, higher rated hotel? Breakfast isn't necessary...I'd like to spend up to $250/night for a nice place.
  3. Hi all, Thanks for the forum, I really appreciate the good advice/comments on here. I (used the link that you guys always post) went to Hotwire to find a hotel for 11/19-11/21, 2 adults, 1 room and would like some help ID'ing these hotels: 4 Star, $223/nite, SoHo-Financial Dist. Hotel -Suite -Complimentary Breakfast -Fitness Center -Restaurant -Business Center -Laundry -Hi Speed Internet 90% recommended 3 Star, $176/nite, Empire State Building area hotel -Suite -Smoke Free -Fitness Center -Laundry -High Speed Internet -Kitchenette 75% recommended Thanks in advance! :)
  4. Thanks for your help. The Prince has a 3.5/5 rating on TripAdvisor though so could it really be the first one? Kinda bummed, was hoping for a Hyatt or Hilton haha. We actually booked Prince through Orbitz but was hoping to find a steal on Hotwire for a nicer hotel... :)
  5. Hello, I have 3 hotels I'd like some help identifying. Firstly, the dates are 8/27 - 8/30/2010, for 2 adults, 1 bedroom. These results pull up: 4 Star Waikiki Marina area Hotel $114/night: -Near beach -Oceanfront -Fitness center -Pool(s) -Restaurant(s) -Business Center -High speed internet -Spa Recommended in 90% of Hotwire customer reviews, 4/5 on TripAdvisor. ---------------- Second one is 4 Star Waikiki Beach area Hotel $129/night: -Near Beach -Smoke Free Rooms -Fitness Center -Pool(s) -Business Center -Laundry Facilities -High-speed Internet Access -Golf Nearby -Tennis Nearby Recommended in 80% of customer reviews, 4/5 on TripAdvisor. No clue what this one would be... ---------------- Lastly, 3 Star Waikiki Marina area Hotel $79/night: -Near Beach -Fitness Center -Pool(s) -Laundry Facilities -High-speed Internet Access -Tennis Nearby Recommended in 85% of customer reviews, 3.5/5 on TripAdvisor. Probably Hawaii Prince I'm guessing? Can anyone help? Many thanks! :)
