  1. Unfortunately it was the Hampton Inn on Woodlake Dr. I've been extremely disappointed with my Hotwire purchases in the past year and this was just another sign that I should just suck it up and book directly through the hotel. When I first logged on to HOTWIRE I saw 2 hotels in the area....this one w/ 85% rec and another for $79 pd w/ 95% rec. I decided to log into BB and use the HOTWIRE link provided here and was only given the $52 pd as a choice. Needless to say I'm very upset. I guess this site is only as good as the ppl who contribute to it so I'm doing my part in hopes that someone else will get a more accurate hotel chain range ( you know what I mean ... Lol). I think the older post re: this area is a little outdated ....I was really hoping it was the Hyatt Place ... Maybe the $79 pd was ... Well I guess I'll never know. I did purchase insurance just in case I had to cancel b/c of Sandy ... Really want to just book directly to Hyatt and use this purchase as a credit but I need to read the fine print. Another oddity ... After purchase I went back on HOTWIRE put in same search BOTH hotels listed again but no % of recommendation on $52 hotel ... This is what I mean a lot of games ... UGGGHHH! 2. Stayed here Aug 8, 2010. Decent stay..clean rooms, indoor pool, quiet, free parking, close to Rt. 1 & Princenton, nothing in walking distance. Pls be weary of breakfast buffet....for 2 adults and child $61.00. We could have drove to McDonald's or a diner down the street. Our room was only $20.00 more...go figure...not a deal at the end ...but we'll know better next time :) !
  3. We stayed at Club Quarters Aug 6-7, 2010 and booked through Hotwire based on the responses given from BB. The room was exactly as the pictures stated. This was our first time staying in NYC so we didn't know what to expect. The standard room is very small ( 2 adults and 1 VERY sm. child max) but clean and comfortable, no closet space but an "ok" sized armoire, wi-fi, and flat screen. Son and I slept on the bed...hubby on roll away. Though small as well I found the bathroom clean & cute. There's a parking lot around the corner that cost us $52.00 for 2 days as we mostly walked, took a cab, or rode the subway. At night it was very noisy and that would be the only reason I wouldn't stay there again. There was a large space between the door and the floor so the VERY bright light from the hallway and the sounds from the bed squeaking from another guest's sexcapade kept me up most of the night. I was really happy my young son was asleep. Oh and I should mention that the walls seem to be very thin as I heard the conversations of ppl from various rooms. If I can remember it all stopped around 5:30 AM!!!!! From what I can remember a light continental was included which was ok but we also ordered from a nearby deli. Staff, check in/ out was seamless. Ok place if you can stand the noise
