I didn't want to take a chance on the unknown 4 1/2 star, so, keying on the word "tennis" and hoping for the Hyatt Regency and I got it!

Anybody got a clue?
I knew Airport had 4 star that's why I didn't select it. I selected Southpark. Read my post again. According to the maps 4 star only shows up in Airport and downtown. I ended up with a 4 star in Southpark (where there's not supposed to be a 4 star. bottom line is... You can't trust the maps. If you do, be prepared for a possible surprise.
Better bidding maps are used to help you know where certain star hotels are located. According to the maps the only areas in Charlotte NC with 4 star hotels are downtown (where we wanted to stay)and Airport, so as long as I stay 4 star and dont select Airport I should only get 4* Downtown. WRONG! I just got stuck in southpark. a 20 min drive to downtown. I LIVE 40 MINS AWAY. We are getting a room because we want to drink and dont want to drive. Probably done with Priceline and I don't think I can trust better bidding anymore.
I put it in the title with the dates, but I used slashes and it probably didn't like that. Anyway, I got the Doubletree Inn. Not bad, I had hoped to get the Omni for $65 but it didn't happen. staying 3-26-11
Just got Marriot Beach Resort and spa for $95 through Priceline. Travelocity price for this room is $242.00 per night! Based on some other wins, I put in Hilton Head - Resort- $70 Rejected. Rebid by adding Bluffton (which has no resorts) and went up to $95 and got it. I may have been able to do better but I rarely bid more than twice. I forgot to add that the dates were 8-13-10 thru 8-16-10.
