I went to name your own price. I started at 5 star, 4.5 star, then 4 star for Times Square starting st $255 then going to $260.00. I then added in Midtown west and figured I could get $260 because there was a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for $269.00. Just like to save a little! It was in the same thread on HOTWIRE so I assumed that the connection would be made. Yes it was on Hotwire and yes it was the hotel I described earlier in the thread in the midtown Central zone.

Looking for a rebid strategy for the dates of 11/1-11/4. Want a 4 star or 5 start for $100.00. Prefer south end of strip, then north end of strip. We will not have a car although car rentals are pretty cheap so might get one if there are any good hotels east or west of strip. Didn't much care for Trump location and don't want to get the mgm signature suietes. (run down.) Thanks.

I'm looking for a rebid strategy at follows: We are coming into JFK on 10/9/2013 after 6pm and leaving from La Guardia on 10/10/2013 in the afternoon. Looking to have some good meals and will have been there 9/26-9/30 so probably don't have too much that we will need to do. Would consider Midtown East, Central, Times square, Chelsea, soho If you have any suggestions of areas we could add for a rebid that have good restaurants would consider adding those. I am getting a room for 4 people and used the search for 4 people. 4 women on a shopping and eating trip. Is one location preferable to another? We might go to one show during the 4 days we are there. I got a car for $11.95 through Hotwire, 'dealer's choice'. Actually they just gave me the car they had the most of which ended up with a mini-van!

March 10-17, 2013 I got a rental car in Las Vegas for $12.00 a day. They took me first offer of $12.00. I only bid $12.00 because the previous month I got one for $11.95 through Hotwire, whatever car the car rental agency had, ended up with a mini-van!

I have been bidding for a couple of weeks starting around $11.95 a day but couldn't get a car in Kansas City as cheap as I could in Vegas. I bid $22.00 yesterday and they gave me an immediate rebid if I bid more than $25.00. I didn't take them up on it but I did bid today and took them up and had to pay $27.00 a day to get a rental car but much below anything I saw online.

Yes it's been awhile. I just reread the rebid process. I have time so wasn't too worried about the rebids. I am very familiar with Vegas but wasn't too sure of the different ones other than strip north and stip south. I may just go for the 5 star hotwire. I'll let you know what I get!

I know we are on the HOTWIRE link but we're talking about priceline right? I only noticed that there was no 5 star in near strip west and near strip east,didn't look anywhere else because if I was wrong I could stay there. Keeping with only 5* because I have a 4* already that is a known quantity. The theory with a rebid is to increase your bid each time you put a new zone on right? What kind of increments would you suggest? I am bidding Strip North, Strip South and near strip west, near strip east. I will probably take the 5 star on hotwire at 93 if still there today otherwise on priceline I would go up to the cost of my 4 start whichi is $108. When viewing the amenities Trump was the only one I saw that listed a kitchentte. Do you think that is correct for priceline?

What is the full list of amenities associated with this property? Sorry I don't understand the above statement, You say on hotwire trump is in strip north zone, and then on hotwire is it in north zone. I have the mirage (4 star hotel) booked through their player club for $133.00 a night. I was trying to stay somewhere different at a 5 star hotel. I am up to $92.00 for a 5 star on priceline bidding for strip north, strip south then increasing price by $1 for near strip east and near stip west since they have no 5 star hotels but haven't gotten a room. I'm curious to know what the hotwire strip north hotel would be. hot wire had posted a hotel for $82.00 a nite. I researched on the hotwire hotel list and figured it was the westin Casuarina which didn't have too good a reviews but... I went to price line, started with 5 star south for $90.00, added 5 star north, added 4 star for both areas for 90.00, then die 3.5 star and got The Westin Casuarina Las Vegas 160 East Flamingo Road Las Vegas, NV 89109 702-836-5900 Smoke free anyway! We ended up using my friends corporate discount. Price was about the same, knew the location and the hotel. She thought it was a suiete hotel but it wasn't.

I would like to get a 3.5,4 or 5 star hotel on the south part of the strip. I would consider a 4 or 5 star hotel on the north part of the strip. My dates for travel are 3/9 to 3/11/2012. I am up to $90 for a 4 star. I recognize I have to pay more but I have time. What order do I bid in to get the maximum number of bids? I don't want a 3.5 in the north part of the strip. First I am looking on Hotwire because I have 4 people staying in the room so I shouldn't use priceline because I'm not guaranteed beds for all. I'm looking for a 4 star from 6/2-6/10 I need help identifying the following. MTE 4 star $204 fitness,rest,bus center,high speed internet and close to Tennis. MTC 4 star $208 smoke free, fitness ctr, rest,bus ctr,high speed internet actually these seem to be the best deals. I can save $10 or $20 bucks and go to a 3.5 star but doesn't seem worth it. I'm trusting you on this one.... I got Club Quarters, Midtown from 5/30 to 6/2 for $111.00 a night. I figured we would have to move but I thought if there were two of us we could get a better deal. Reviews are mixed, they love the location but... Do you want me to post a review after we go? Of course I'm hooked now so what would be your best strategy fo the four of us the 2nd part of the trip. If we can do better and stay in more of a luxury hotel that would be great. I've seen some that are rated in the top 50 of hotels in New York without any negative reviews...knowing we'd like to keep it under $250.00....
