  1. PRICE IS ABOUT 20% BELOW THE QUOTED RATES. THE HOTEL LOOKS LIKE A SOLID CHOICE.
  2. This hotel has a 95% approval rating. I am not sure if this hotel is also the Hyatt Regency at Gainey Ranch.
  3. I didn't see the prior post before otherwise I would have responded earlier with my review; better late than never(about three months late to be exact). The hotel is impressive from the outside and continues with a warm and inviting look into the main lobby area. However, beyond that initial impression, everything else was strictly downhill. At the front desk I was told I had to pay a MANDATORY Resort Fee even though I was on a business trip and had no time to spend at the hotel. I explained my situation to the front desk personnel but felt like I was talking to the walking dead and got no where with them. I was upset to say the least. The rooms, at best, are worn out and the hallways have a tired look as well. And if you do not have kids in tow, don't worry, there were hoards of children running through the hotel day and night. If this hotel had a sweet elegance in the past, it is certainly gone now. The one positive point in trying to be fair to this hotel is its location. The Kierland Center is magnificent with lots of restaurants and shopping. In addition, there is an astounding movie theater in the complex(don't miss it!). As you may have guessed, I would not recommend this hotel. Buyer Beware!!
  4. I tried bidding from $91 and bid in $5 increments. The Wynn is a great hotel - I won the same hotel about 2 years ago and was quite pleased.
  5. Hotel is about 5 miles west of I95, so a little bit off the beaten path. Hotel is clean and staff seems quite professional. Bid $46 first and then Priceline came back with $56. as a suggested counter - obviously it worked. Free Internet and parking. I would stay at this hotel again.
  6. Just bid and got the Sheraton Mid-Town on 7th Ave..
  7. Just booked. I am in the hotel and it is extremely clean and nice. I paid $85. for the one nite (weather issues).
  8. I can tell you that the 5* resort at $119 is most likely the Fairmont Princess. Another good choice, if it shows on Hotwire, is a 4.5* hotel - the Hyatt at Gainey Ranch. I hope that helps you with the decision process.
  9. In answer to your question about a 5* hotel in Scottsdale,AZ., I booked on Hotwire for this upcoming week(Nov.1st) and received The Fairmont Princess. I paid $156/nite. Good Luck!
