First bid with US$ 85 was rejected for 6/1-6/3. Also "extend your stay" from the US$ 91 winning bid wasn't accepted for the 5/31 and 6/4. But with a splitted bid I got both dates for US$ 96.

Hi, happy to get now for the 4th time candlewood suites in Jersey City. I prefer the free internet and parking at that location. Unfortunately I have to split my bid.

Because of the high Hyatt rate we decided to give the Candlewood Suite a chance. Hope not to be dissatified compare to the Hyatt.

Yes I will think about the Candlewood. Are their rooms as clean as the Hyatt's? But when I stay there I will rent the car after the stay.

I rent the Minivan a copple years ago and was very excited at the customs :) I will wait a few days and check the hotwire rate in the mid September for my planned stay perhaps it will be under 100$ and I can enjoy a few days in NYC with a great view from my bed. I have never been in the Secaucus outlets but this time I will stop there.

Hi, good joke with the motor lodge. My dates are 10/14 - 10/17 as you can see (or not) in the headline. My fallback plan is very simple, rent the Towncar directly at the airport an fill up the trunk within 14days in the outlets :) And try to get better rates for the Hyatt in December.

With the wonderful experience in may this year staying at the Jersey Hyatt I want to visit NY in october and staying at the same place. Unfortunately I see an exploding price since may staying there for $78. What will be the best way for getting a price under $100? Perhaps I have to wait a little more for booking hotwire or will priceline be the better alternativ?

Yes you are right its a hotel i just copy&paste from above. But I am more interested in the Brewester location because there are very nice hotels.

Could someone help me with the identification of the resort/hotel on Cape Cod. There is a resort in Chatham - Brewster 3* with a Condo and a 3* Hotel in Hyannis - Yarmouth. Does anyone has an idea which hotel I could get? Thank you Champel

Thanks for the changes. As I am new to this type of booking I would like to get the rooms for under 50$ as posted here. Is it just luck to reach that kind of price in my period and I better take the 78$? What is the best bidding tactic?
