Learned from Better Bidding to check the price on the PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal. For a 3* hotel, the express price was $50. I bid $43 and won. Total cost will be $55.73. I'm now off to find a hotel in Iowa City for the next night. It's college visit week. I was concerned that I may have issues finding a hotel due to others on a visit as well. Thanks Better Bidding!

I was more aggressive with my bidding knowing I needed 3 nights during the week. First bid 4* No. Michigan Ave for $55 Added Franklin Park for $62 Added Skokie for $68 - Accepted. Taxes & fees = $42.12 Grand Total = $246.12 Very happy with the results. Expedia is showing the same days for $158 per night - $542.97 with taxes.

Had checked recent bids and started out at $40 for North Michigan Ave. Added lower rated neighborhoods until I got up to $50 and then added Millennium Park, Loop & Grant park. Bid was accepted for the Hyatt Regency. We've stayed here before and will love our trip back. Had hoped to try a different area along the lake but are very happy with our win. I didn't need to rebid at all!! Selected only North Michigan Avenue with 4 stars for $50 per night and my bid was immediately accepted. As this was my second time for using this site for research and coming out with another great hotel at a great price, I have to say THANK YOU and you can be sure I'll tell everyone of your site!
