  1. Used a BB PRICELINE link to book a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for $80 in austin central. Funny part is I bid $84 including this area & stars level and it didn't give it to me. Amenities listed were Wifi Pool Parking Restaurant Biz center Weight room
  2. Started try to get Omni Austin South (IS NOW A 3.5* dropped .5). Bid the normal $50-$60 and nothing bit. Added 3* bid 50-60 nothing bit. Added 2.5* bid 50-60, nothing bit Added 2* bid 50-58. nothing took. Here is the weird part. The express deal for the same area/star is $58 but it wouldn't give me the bid. So I took the express deal of $58 for a nice 2* property (stayed here at least 5 times).
  3. Tried a plethora of ways to try to pay less the the $49 express rate it gave me after about 22 failed attempts. Sadly the express rate was the best rate going. Still saved 51% over best listed rate. Thanks BB!
  4. After extending My Omni Austin Southpark for $59 for an extra night (jumps to over $100 a night for the rest of the week) , we decided to go back to our favorite cheap Austin hotel. First bid of $46 was a winner, I have got them for as low as $36 so I should have started lower. Thanks BB!
  5. Tried from $48 to $55 and won. Good chance you can get it in the $40's now that they have no events for awhile. Wo are these fools bidding &120 on a 3*? Thanks, BB
  6. Another savings of 36% (lowers my average alot) by using BB. Started at my previous winning bid from a week ago, $62. Instantly offered me a $92 rate. I ran from $65 to $88, trying 2-3 dollar increase until I hit at $88 remember taxes will make this $110. If you want to get and least 1 extra chance on airport 3.5* add south west after your first fail. Have never seen anyone win a 3.5 start there. @IdeaJason
  7. Tried every $2 from $36 to 48. From the very beginning it offered me a free spin at $50. When I eventually took it it booked me into the hotel I wanted. Free parking. wifi, breakfast, hot tub pool. I even tried the 3.5*s in the area at 50, 58, no joy. Thanks again BB! Another 45% savings! J
  8. tried a few days ago for the Omni Southpark with a previous winning bid of $45, no go then they recommended the $62 price gave me another free spin. In between on other accounts I tried $50, $52, $58 all no go. I went back to the free spin and it hit on the Hilton which I have no complaints about for $65. Thanks BB now to do the next 7 nights in San Antonio. FYI: I added up all my savings from BetterBidding & Priceline and found that I save nearly 80% over rack rates & 53% over published sales at the time of booking. Last year alone that was $861 in savings. thanks, @IdeaJason
  9. Tried to get a 3.5* for $61,$66, $75 all fails. Then switched to a 3* for $60, $65 both fails and won with $72. Actually got two rooms with different checkout dates so you should get credit for both. Thanks BB
  10. It was that same night as the post Friday Feb 10th 2012. sorry I re-did it three times trying to match the proper format & must have cut instead of pasted. Love the site I counted over the last three years I have saved at least $1800 on everything from cars to airfair. keyword: ,Snoqualmie Casino, Now to get a car in Austin.
  11. Accepted 1st bid...$$72 for 3 1/2* Silvercloud Hotel - Eastgage in Bellevue. I used your PRICELINE link. Thanks!!
  12. I always forget something. I spent the last 10mins trying to find an edit post button. It was for tonight 1 night Aug 27th. Thanks for saving me, I checked some normal best rates calling with a AAA discount and the lowest was $163 for a 2*. You save me a ton, thanks!
  13. Tried for 3* for $40 (has worked before) went to $50 as low as 2*. Later started with 3* for $75, no joy. tried 2.5 then 2* for $76. Got that. Something must be going on other the PAX as before I made the last few bids I checked a few places I know locally & they were all booked up tonight. This has to be a 1 weekend fluke as I have never paid more then $50 for a 3* by the aeroport. used the PRICELINE links thanks BB!
  14. First attempt success. Saw two previous posts with a $40 bid so I started there. Doubletree a 3* that seems like a steal! Central is closer to Downtown then Arboretum or NW & you don't pay the "close to the college" extra yet your only 3 miles from the campus. (and the neighborhood is better, car doesn't get broken into) Couldn't be happier! This is my third time winning with BB, Thanks! Jason AscendWell.com
  15. I payed only $90 and will be saying hi to you at check in.
  16. Was hoping for Edgewater but the Renaissance is much nicer! First bid 4* $90 Downtown area, Marriott Renaissance. Of course I used one of the many PRICELINE links here! Thanks! Jason
