Surprised to get the Intercontinental, you should add it to the Priceline hotel list for downtown Austin. While $157 seems high compared to other posts, it's a football weekend, so prices are high everywhere. Hotwire had the Intercontinental at $182/night and the IC website rates were $280/night. Started bidding at $100/night in $5 increments for a week ... and bid up to $135 when I got a page that said if I increased my bid by $22 I could resubmit it immediately. So, $157 it was. You will have to bid at least $275/night to get the Grand Hyatt (see my Priceline topic) Widespread Panic is at Radio City all weekend - plus it's the fall and rates go way up then. Hyatt's website's rates are: 9/14 $609 9/15 $399 9/16 $399 so, 275 is a DEAL!

First bid of $250/night rejected for MTW and MTE $275/night seems like a great deal, considering the 9/14 rate on the Hyatt website is $609/night!!!!! Just booked a hotel for Saturday night (4/2) in Cleveland. Thought it might be the Radisson, but got the Sheraton Cleveland City Centre Hotel ... looks like a good hotel at a good rate! The rate on Sheraton's website is $139. Go Blue!
