  1. This website has helped me out so much, i figured I would share the wealth. I booked a hotel through Priceline last week and got this bonus email. I am not going to be booking another hotel within the next 3 weeks, so first come first serve. If anyone is booking a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal through Priceline, use this code for 10% your booking. 99.9% sure its a one use code, so good luck!! Expires 8/13/14 BDC4FP9K
  2. Was wondering if anyone has stayed at this hotel recently and could offer an opinion? All of the reviews posted here are from 3 years ago. I have read about recent "upgrades" and was wondering if the hotel is actually fairly decent, or is shabby like most of the reviews around the internet lead me to believe. I have found a super sexy rate on LMT, so I am hoping someone can give me some positives for this place to make me secure my room. Thanks!!
  3. Downtown Hotel 2.5* Casino --- Restaurant this seems like any of the 2*s listed but not a 2.5??? also... Near Strip East Hotel 2.5* Shuttle -- Pool -- Restaurant is this Terribles?? it doesnt say anything about a casino
  4. make an addition: be aware i got jammed. there is a 3* in Henderson now. was trying to get a 3* at the airport and added Henderson since it only has 4* (which no way would have been accepted) 3***Holiday Inn E Henderson Las Vegas bud was accepted at $44 was trying to get Doubletree at the airport and now stuck with this property. hope it is good. dates 12/31 to 1/1
  5. Staying here a week later anyhow, was going to a concert at the va beach amphitheater so figured i would try $5 less for one night and got it. $67.06 with taxes and fees not sure what happened to title but bid amount was $52
  6. any ever heard of this site I found it on craigslist. <removed> the girl running it is... an official marketing rep for the Harrah's Family of Casinos.
  7. i started my bids with 3.5*. This narrowed down the list of hotel "minimums" that i wanted to monte carlo and flamingo, and obv also includes anything higher than a 4*. I was mostly trying to avoid Hooters, which is a 3* and has the lowest customer ratings at all sites. but mostly kinda hoping to swing the flamingo out of this since it has no resort fee if i dont get a 3.5* under 165 for this deal, then i will probably start over and roll the dice on a 3* and start in the north strip
  8. Well, I have tried the bidding process a few times already. I edited my trip for 12/31 - 1/5. I am going to do a bid for 12/31-1/2. Reasons being I know I can get good cheap rates almost anywhere on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, which is when everyone returns back to reality, as does the hotel rates. Doing my research off of Priceline and the info of this site, I have determined my best opportunity seems to lie in the 3.5* range in the South Strip, which would be the Monte Carlo and Flamingo and any other higher rated hotel (which all of them are nice in my book). I tried my first bid and tried to get greedy and went with 95 per night, which got rejected. I have since done a combination of various vicinity adds. The obvious one being North Strip, which has no 3.5 and only has nicer 4*s, so if i win there it would almost be a bonus. I also added Henderson and Nellis, which dont have anything higher than a 3* and upped my bid all the way to 121 per night and have still not had any success. I am right now done with adding options, so I can't bid anymore today. Is it unrealistic to think I can get a room under $130 per night for new years eve and day?? Flamingo on these dates avgs $228. Monte Carlo avgs $250. NYNY is a 4* and avgs $200. Most PRICELINE Name Your Prices Bids seem to be in the 50% off neighborhood. So are they trying to hold off on most bids for this time of year since rooms will be going at a premium as the date nears? I am trying to get it done now 5 months out in the hopes I can score a better deal, but if its not going to be much of a discount to bid, I may just stay at a cheaper hotel near the airport for these nights and taxi it into the strip. Curious your thoughts and any advice.
  9. Good heads up!! Just put in and got accepted for the same bid!! July 19-21 Amazing thing is that i had wanted this hotel about a month ago and put in a reservation with Expedia. found a $20 off promo code and my total stay was going to be $205. Just saved a little over $60 after fees thanks to this site!! Many thanks!!
  10. I am looking to travel to Vegas on 12/30-1/4. I know room rates are jacked up on the first 3 nights, but pretty much back down to earth for the 2nd & 3rd. I am thinking about bidding on a room for the first 3 nights, and then just booking for the last two with a hotel or either submitting a separate bid for these dates. I am hoping to get a room somewhere along the strip and would like for it to be at an actual known casino hotel. Prefer 4 star but 3.5 is fine just dont want to sell myself short on my bid. Definitely looking to spend under $100 per night if possible. Also would prefer a hotel with no resort fees, but obviously thats the risk you take when bidding. Any ideas or advice??
