Thanks. I'm thinking it's the Alden, too, but think I will go with the 2.5* downtown Houston hotel for $84 that I'm pretty sure is the Holiday Inn. It has breakfast and parking included, which is a great price for the area. I'll use your HOTWIRE link and post my final decision in a few days.
