  1. Hello I'm looking to take a trip out of BWI airport. I have stayed at the ALoft hotel previously (not using priceline) and they offer free parking and shuttle from their hotel to BWI. At the Aloft, they just say park the car in the back of the hotel and pick it up when you return. They never required any tag or slip on the dashboard or anything. The Hilton next door used the same shuttle vans and had the same policy. Curious if I take advantage of a priceline win at a BWI Airport hotel, can I take advantage of the free parking perk as well? Any insight from fellow priceline bidders who did the same?

  3. Of course first thing I used the links on betterbidding.com to click through to PRICELINE.com I have been bidding $90 to $95 about every day for the past couple weeks. Since my reservation date is so far in the future (May 2012) I have plenty of time to do one bid a day in my bid range. For weeks I was always denied up to $95. I would occasionally add a free rebid by adding a zone which did not include a 4* Resort hotel, and bid up to $96 or $97. They were always rejected. Today I got lucky and bid $95 first time out and was awarded the Conrad San Juan Condado Plaza. Best rates found on Hilton web site: $159+ tax/resort fee for nonrefundable room. Same for the aggregate sites such as Kayak, hotels, Expedia, etc. We are only staying one night in San Juan to catch an early flight back to the States after a week long stay in Vieques. Could I have saved more by waiting until closer to arrival? Maybe a few bucks, but I am happy with the bid and choice. Edit***Should say 4* instead of Resort Category.
  4. Needed a hotel room for one night to catch an early morning northbound flight to the States after visiting Vieques, PR. My max amount to spend was $85, I started around $80 and bid up $1 each day until $85. I would start with Resorts, then 4* then finally I added in a 3.5*. I was accepted at $85/night for a 3.5* Old San Juan Sheraton. A fair price I believe, listed rates for the same holiday weekend were $200+.
  5. I bid $52 and was accepted first time for the East Syracuse area for a stay on 9/23/2010. The list rate for that night was $135. I clicked on the PRICELINE link. Love this site, helps save a ton of money!
