  1. Sorry it was the Jameson Suites in Arlington Heights. It was for 7/24 - 7/26 Have stayed here before and it was another good stay. The variety offered at breakfast is good albeit a bit unusual. Toast, Biscuts/Gravy, Mini Muffins, Waffles, Steamed Rice, Hardboiled Eggs, Fruit, Cereal, Milk/Juice.
  2. This should be a new hotel for the list. Had to buy over the phone as my computer was having technical difficulties with the hotwire website. Stayed at this hotel before and it is well worth this rate. Ammenities listed were: Complimentary Breakfast and Fitness Center Hotel rate per night - Hotwire hot Rate:$36.00 Nights:2 Rooms:1 Subtotal:$72.00 Tax recovery charges and fees:$13.56 Total price:$85.56
  3. From an email forwarded by a friend, this was their first bid. Thought I would add to to the board... Kansas City Airport (MCI) 11728 Nw Ambassador Drive Kansas City, Missouri 64153 816-801-8400 Check in 3/2/08 - 1 night Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $39.00 Subtotal: $39.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $14.09 Total Charges*: $53.09
  4. I see there are 1 and 2 star hotels listed on priceline for the Lake Ozark / Osage Beach Area. I didn't see anything in the list. Any ideas about what these might be? I am more interested in Osage Beach since my conference is at Tan-Tar-A but they only have a 1 star. I didn't see any 1 star hotels in the missouri list at all. Are priceline hotels national brands or could it be one of the local no name places as well? Thanks
  5. Only feature listed was Laundry Facilities Guests have access to a coin-operated washer and dryer Total including tax for the 4 nights was 146.91 This was a very very basic place to stay. Nothing to exceptional but I did like the full sized refirg and microwave in the room. WiFi is 4.99 for the length of your stay.
  6. Bid $46 for a three star. Rejected so I went up to $56 and it upgraded me to a 4* I only bid for Friday night but it offered for me to extend my stay one night in either direction so I went ahead and got Thursday night as well. I was bidding for the Marriott DT but am happy with this hotel as well. Total with tax is 142 and some change.
  7. Could have maybe got this a little bit cheaper but this was my last Louisville bid before I completely ran out of options. I used the rest of my bids trying to get a 3*. Bid $32.00 Tax $11.97 Total $43.97 The room is listed on the Candlewood website for $64.95 plus tax. I thought this was a pretty good rate given that Thunder Over Louisville is going on that weekend and has an attendance of well over 500,000.
  8. $27.00 rejected, it countered with 34.00. I didn't see anything that would have worked as a rebid so I waited 72 hours. Accepted at 31.00. I could have probably gotten it a little lower or a better hotel in another part of the city but I needed to make sure I got a room in this part of town. I don't think that it is a hotel that has previously been listed. Your Offer Price: $31.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 3 Subtotal: $93.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $23.14 Total Charges: $116.14
  9. Schaumburg - Arlington Heights & Vicinity (Western Suburbs) - See map 4 stars Selected amenities include: Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Fitness Center. Any idea what this is?
  10. I am looking at Chicago for these dates and would like to stay downtown somewhere. Looking at Hotwire and using this website for research I believe that the Hyatt is available for $60.00 a night. I have seen people getting the Hyatt for around 45-50 lately. I have bid up to 55 on Priceline with no success. Any idea why there aren't any deals? It is a holiday weekend with no major conventions. Any help would be great. Thanks
