First bid of $32.00 was accepted. Total was $43.34 with taxes and fees, I used the PRICELINE link on the website to start bidding.
The hotel is squeaky clean and in a very safe area, but the hotel is very noisy. Walls were so thin I could hear the guest in the next room sneezing and the air conditioner/heater sounded like it was going to rattle out of the wall. Nice free business center, exercise facility and pool. Staff was okay, but efficient. Overall - for the price paid, it was a pleasant stay, but would have been disappointed had I paid the lowest available rate through the Hilton website ($129.00).
Started bidding at $55 and went up in 5 dollar increments until I hit this property at $75.00. Total for both nights with tax and fees - $179.19.
Comparisons:
Hyatt Direct and Expedia direct: $368.00 + tax and fees Tuesday and $304.00 + tax and fees Wednesday night
Total: $672.00

Started bidding through the PRICELINE link on betterbidding! Even with the ridiculous $24.00 per night parking - you can't beat over 70% off!
Parking at this hotel is $24 dollars a night.
Started at 35, declined - added a zone and two bucks and hit the Doubletree at $37. List price for the hotel direct was $109 - can't beat more than half off. Total with tax and fees was $49.35.
Started at $40 dollars and increased bid in $2 dollar increments using re-bid zones, won the 3.5* Renaissance at $50.00. Have stayed here before and its a decent place. Beats the Pric.eline advertised rate of $119.00 - cant argue with more than half off!
