  1. I searched for May 26-29 only in the Lake Buena Vista/Downtown Disney area and got this:

3-star hotel in Lake Buena Vista - Downtown Disney

    Customer Favorite!

This midscale establishment offers more than just the basics in style, comfort and customer service. See hotel details:

Restaurant, Pools, Fitness Center, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Business Center, Laundry Facilities

    The price listed is $84/night

I can't find anything on the current list that is a 3* in this area with these amenities that also says Customer Favorite. Is it possible that the Swan, Dolphin, or Hilton have changed their * level?

    Thanks for the help! :)

  2. I submitted my rebate about 2 1/2 weeks ago, and I received an email last Thursday that I would see a $30 credit on my card within 7 business days. On Monday, however, I received another email stating that they could not process my rebate because my membership ID number had been used to receive the discount multiple times. I know others have tried to use it more than once, but this was actually the only time I had used it, so I wrote back to them stating that I had never used it before, and within hours I received an email back stating that they made a mistake and that my card would be credited within the day. I guess they really are trying to crack down and stop people from using it twice.

  3. When I go to www.hotwire.com it automatically signs me in, so when I went to book another stay and put in this discount code it didn't give me a box for discount codes. Do I need to sign out and book as a non-member to be able to use it? Thanks :)

PS- I will book the right way when I really go to do it, I just wanted to test and see if the code was still available so I just went through hotwire.

  4. I just wanted to post about our stay. The hotel was GREAT! The location was wonderful and was only a 4-5 minute drive to the main beach area. The room was very clean and HUGE and the back of the door actually listed it as being a $249/night room !! The complimentary breakfast included items such as eggs, grits, home fries, cereal, fruit, bagels, waffles, orange juice, muffins, cinnamon buns, bacon, sausage, milk, etc... and was served from 6:30-9:30am. They had a fitness center, a pool, and a business center which we actually used frequently since we were there for job interviews. There was no charge to use the internet or print pages. We didn't receive any type of check out confirmation from the front desk, though. They told us that it was all handled through Hotwire and that they would mail us something after we checked out. I asked if they could at least give me the total that was charged to my card, and they said they have absolutely no info except the reservation number. Is this typical? I'm just nervous that I won't be charged what I was supposed to be.

Anyway, we got a great deal! Thanks everyone on here for the help and the discount codes :)

  5. When I was filling out my rebate form tonight, I noticed that the rebate can only be used with credit cards - not debit cards.

What about if your debit card is also a credit card? I noticed that when I booked through Hotwire it stated that some hotels may require a credit card to be put on file upon check in and that debit cards may not be accepted, but I didn't see anything on the rebate form. Oh no!

  6. I just booked this (yes, I linked through the Savings Barn site :) ) It ended up being the Comfort Suites at the Isle of Palms Connector- looks pretty cute. With tax and the Hotwire fee for 3 nights (6/26-6/29) it ended up being $208.95, but I was still able to use the GIFTCARD06 code and saved $30, plus I can mail in the entertainment rebate and get $30 more off making my final total $148.95 for 3 nights. That's $49.65/night for a hotel in which the rooms are about $117+/night ! The ammenities were listed as:

    Suite

    Complimentary Breakfast

    Pool

    Fitness Center

    Kitchenette

    High Speed Internet Access

    Business Center

    Laundry Facilities (self service)

Hurry, just went back and it's up to $62/night now!

  7. We stayed at the Days Inn on Patriots Point in March and it wasn't too bad. For $55/night I think it was fine. We switched rooms, but the one we ended up with had a 32 inch TV, a micro fridge and a microwave. If you don't pay more than $50-$60 it would be a fine choice, but not for much more. I doubt it would be this hotel, because their rates for that time are around $58-$60/night, so why would Priceline have it for $76? Wait, how do you have a price if you're using Priceline? Is that what you bid? I'm looking at the same one on Hotwire for the end of June. Make sure you let me know if you get it :) Thanks!

  8. It doesn't look like the Hilton has laundry. What exactly does it mean when it has the laundry logo? Does it mean that there is actually laundry service, or that there is a laundry room?

I was thinking it might also possibly be the Quality Inn & Suites in Mount Pleasant, or the Holiday Inn that Scorp mentioned.

  9. It actually can't be that particular Holiday Inn because it's in Folly Beach which is on the opposite side of Charleston from the area that I searched. It's not 'East of the Cooper.' It's 'West of the Ashley.'

It goes up the coast from South to North like this:

Folly Beach/West Ashley area (Holiday Inn Charleston- On the Beach)

    Ashley River

    Downtown Charleston

    Cooper River

East of the Cooper area (area I searched)
